Are you a Pirates fan too? I've been to almost every major American City I'd I've always thought Pittsburgh was the most underated, really enjoyed it.
Do you use any software? Why did you get into videos/training sites, It can't possibly compare to your poker hourly can it?
How the hell are you so consistent, are you secretly like a Zen Master or something?
Is it possible that someone is better at playing "average to good" players than "bad" players. I have always scoffed at this but I look at my graph and my upswings have been against regs, and my 2 most decent losing streaks have been against complete rando sucktards. I have always heard you are the best at playing "bad/unknown" players.
Is there anyone you know of that is successful at High Stakes that doesn't have a network of successful players/friends around them ?
As for inspirational videos I present you with

Not even gonna bother clicking on that other weak sauce.
Thanks $1 Million for the well yo!
I'm 'skilled' unlike some other kid in volleyball.
Ehhh..this one is close. I enjoy going to Pirate games and will watch them on TV from time to time but I wouldn't really call myself a 'fan'. Any organization that just doesn't try to put a winning product on the field and only to turn a profit is a joke. I swear the Pirates are a halfway house for washed up players to try and turn it around or for prospects to get pretty good and be traded...for more prospects. Pittsburgh is an awesome city..really happy I moved there a few years ago.
I only use sharkscope to track games..I tried setting a friend who palyed cash games with Pokertracker and I was clueless. I know Chek uses HUD and says that it helps him get a picture of the opponents style but I'll probably jsut stick with sharkscope. I got into HUSNG.com b/c I knew it would be a fun project to help people improve. I wish I had these kind of tools when I was growing up as a player (I feel so old), so its nice to be able to help people accelerate their journies as a poker player. I also wanted to do it for the coaching to really help try and transform a few players into great players. I wanted to motivate myself to put everything I know and can teach into the students and always be there to answer follwups.
I've just tried to stray from tilting as much as possible and think I've done a pretty good job. I'm no Phil Jackson, though.
Yeah I think that is true. Playing people I have little to no information on is like solving a puzzle. I know a few general things I need to do, but I actually have to see the way they respond to plays to be able to get a feel for their game. The puzzle analogy wasn't very good in hindsight. I like playing regulars from time to time for the challenge and the leveling wars. I probably match up decent but nothing spectacular against most of the regulars but wouldn't prefer playing them 100+ times. For now, I'll stick to the bad/unknowns!
Nah, not really. I said before that talking with other players about hands was a huge part of my growth as a player. That is what makes these forums very valuable to everyone. When you grown complacent as a player and think you know it all you are falling behind the curve. Anytime you think of whether or not you could've done something different and more profitably don't assume you played it standard..talk to your peers about it. Alot of times you'll be surprised.
Heh..I saw those. That's gold Jerry..gold!
No problem..thanks for the shorts!
