No problem..happy to do it. Haven't written for awhile so good to keep active in that regard.

I started playing 9mans online then just gave husng's a shot and stuck with them since.

I think the transition from the 200s to the 500s before they had a 300 level was most difficult. Today I think that the 500/1000 jump is probably the most difficult.

Probably Summer of 2004 after my freshman year of college. That was when I started making good consistent money, though it still is surprising to me that this is my job.

Probably another 2-3 years then I hope to just do it casually. I'm the type of person who likes to try and get really good at something then I get bored with it and will find a new interest. This hasn't fully happened yet with poker so I can't put a concrete time on it.

also why does everything taste like chicken?

How high do they go? I'll say something like 500k..because I would be pretty bored and them and they have a ceiling.

Chicken is delicious..I think I'm going to go to KFC tonight now and eat super unhealthy.

The biggest Aha moment was probably after I went broke. It really gave me a huge slice of humble pie and made me realize that I had to work harder than ever before and just make better decisions.

Having a great friend like Vinny 'stop and drop' Sokalski really made a big difference. Talking to each other about taking alternate lines and how to adapt to certain styles accelerated the process. We didn't have training sites back when we started and didn't use the forums often, but talking to others and watching friends play really helped me tremendously.

I think it would be helpful and I used to like writing so it helps both parties. I'm trying to post more so give me time!

I don't really have a favorite online pro. My favorite pro has gotta be Phil Ivey. Having played with him twice its just amazing to watch him go to work and just bet bet bet and people call call fold. He definitely has an aura about him that no one else I've ever played with has.

I think that I'm one of the best regs at the stakes I play. I'm confident in my game but its very difficult to say which player is hands down the best. I might match up well against one guy and get smashed by another but I'd like to think I'm up there.

I will play a player with bad numbers pretty straightforwardly unless I think they will play me in a different way than they might play someone else. Against these kind of opponents, I'm trying to play mistake-free poker and let them make a few. Cards will fall even long term but if I play them as to not spew and extract solid value where my opponent fails to then I think I have a big edge. If I'm playing a reg or a player 10+ times then I will throw some kinks in.

No hiccups today!

I play HU cash live, although the situation comes up rarely. I never really got into it online because the button in Stars cash game, my only site for the first few years, wouldn't always be on the small blind. At least I'm pretty sure that was why..maybe I was awful and just didn't understand where the button should have been?

I played very underrolled at the 5ks so on my second go at it I made sure to use strict roll management. Volume was really big for helping me move back up fairly quickly.

My dad used to work in the steel mill in Johnstown and now works with his brother in some auctioneering stuff. He owns a house that he rents out downtown. I should've said something clever like 'I don't know who my daddy is but I know who yours is..me'. Maybe next time..

I'm friends with most of the regs at 500+ and I think they are all very good players. Again it goes back to matchups so its very tough to say. If they are rolled and they built it from HUSNGs, then they most certainly shoudln't be overrated. I have been and will continue playing BigredAK but I'm not sure if he qualifies as a reg.

Hey croix, thx for doing this.

In your videos, you always comment on timing tells etc, how big a part does it play in your final decision in a hand? Obv there is other things to consider but i always get the impression that you put a lot of weight behind the speed of bets...

Are we allowed to post strat questions or hands? :P

i have watched some of your videos and you seem to play a bit loser than a lot of people oop. i know you don't really play the 110s anymore, but let's say you were playing one and it's the first hand with no reads. you are oop and your opponent minraises. what kind of hands do you call with?

also thanks a ton for doing this! that is so insane that you lost your 100k bankroll.

With 20-25bb effective stacks vs a villain who u susoect is shoving widish do u continue to minraise a tonne of buttons and just try to estimate how wide wide vcillain is shoving and construct a somewhat reasonable calling range or do u start limping some hands and adjusting that way. If u were to limp what handfs do u think are the best to limp and how does this vary depending on villains frequencies.

For example if villain was shoving kind of wide but not wide enough that I can confidently call with k10o ill choose hands like that to limp, then continue to raise with some hands that cant call a limp raise annd can comfortable fold to a shove plus hands that can call a shove profitably. Interested to know your approach.

any hints on note-taking? what are the first few notes u regularly take even if only mentally? what are some of the first things an opponent does that begins to direct ur evaluation of them?

thanks a lot for doing this

How old are you? Also, I heard you had a really nice live cash at the PCA a few years ago. How much was that for and what did it change in terms of your poker career? Tell us a little about that please. Also, if you have any time you remember specifically when you felt so down on your luck/ in a funk and losing confidence with your game what you did to get your old self back?

Forget the stats..
Forget the past couple years.
Forget about EVERYTHING...
Forget the TITLE

Honest opinion.

deep down in your heart, do you really think the Pittsburg Steelers are the best team in Pennslyvania?

Also, honest opinion. If Ben got hurt during any game in the playoffs, do you think Leftwich could have gotten the job done and won the ring.

Better question actually: If it were the superbowl again and the Eagles beat the Cards.
Eagles vs Steelers: what do you think the outcome would be, what score, and why?
