1. which coaching method would you judge to be best for a avarage 20/30$ ftp regs speed lvl grinder?:
1.1. HH review in written and discussed on AIM after
1.2. watch student play and discuss
1.3. watch coach play and discuss
if ever not really individual?
2. how would you judge the drying out of games (5-10 year time)? for me this means, it will get harder and harder to beat a certain level (due to skills and/or fewer fish). will this be a general trend? or do you see a light at the end of the horizen like better economics, more players from china, india, whatever?
3. would you say that experience in play in itself is pushing card reading abilities and postflop abilities? or do you judge this part being a combi of different learnings like other components of HU?
4. what do you mean exactly by doing a game plan? would that also be usefull for low/mid stakes?
thanks in advance for your answers and wish u all the best.
Thanks..hope its been helpful.
1. For a grinder I would probably think that watching a coach play and explain what hes doing while you ask questions would be the most helpful. You can easily spot times where you would do something else and get quick on the fly reasoning as to why hes doing it. These should probably be followed up with the coach watching you to make sure the things you've learned are being implemented into your game.
2. There will always be fluctuations of new players into games so I don't really think everything will dry up completely. Yes, games are tougher than they are 5 years ago but I'm optimistic that there will always be some new players coming in.
3. I don't think its fair to say that everyone who has experience playing HUSNG's will be able to play well postflop or will have solid hand reading skills. I do think, however, that the biggest benefit of experience is quickly being able to recognize a player's style and having the ability to attack it with a style you think will be effective. Alot of times you will see the same types of players (hyper aggro, loose passive) and over time you will be able to identify these kinds of players quickly.
4. I think up and coming players should create a solid bankroll management plan instead of just moving up when they feel like it. Alot of times they will not be ready for the next level and do not have enough buyins to be playing comfortably. Creating a plan and sticking to it will motivate you to put in volume at your current stake and move up quickly.
