im just wondering how ppl are using HEM to analyse their own play, and what stats constitute a "solid" style of play mainly agaisnt a random low stakes villian. i get the whole tight oop and looser in position bit, but after that i dont know what to look for.

What are good stats?
Stats really aren't that important and generally cannot tell you if you are doing something wrong in a HU SNG (mainly due to changing blindlevels/stack depths and reads being more relevant in general), this is very different from 6max or FR so keep it in mind, stat and/or hud posts and questions should generally be put in the beginner's questions thread.

also you want 1k+games before you even take a look at your hem, and some people will say that's quite a bit on the small side

merseanneary did a video on HEM for HUSNG.com (which was sweet:P) and he's doing more soon i think.


if you reallly, really want some ball park stats than im gonna say for a laggish style (the most tought/used one)
sb,vpip: 80% +-10%
bb,vpip: 30% +-10%
3bet%: 20%

cbet: 60-80%
winning at showdown: 50% +-10%
and than brekeven/slight winner from bb
big winner from sb

anything beyond that is way to oppenent specific/sample size dependant malarky.

ok thanks, should really seen that when i looked but the stats thing was more of a secondary question. didnt really word it great i suppose. but how do u use hem once u have the 1k + volume at same stake. like what filters are good to use?
iv not really used it to analyse hands before in great detail just used the HUD whilst playing. so ay pointers would be a real help.

There are several ways to use it. In the reports the Leakbuster has stakes and position reports that are really helpful. Especially if you take a little time and customize the stats so they are more relevant to hu. I make them look like my hud. In the hands you can use the filter in a lot of ways. I really like to filter for not allin preflop hands that were big pots.

Also it doesn't take thousands of games for stats to be useful. In hu you have to be able to pick up tendencies of how a player plays in 10 hands.

When using the HEM replayer you can customize it so it is better for hu.
