definitely a no-fun day, every bluff ran into absolute nuts, value hands facing worst rivers that complete all draws when passive fish suddenly lead ships. nothing i did had any fold equity at all including preflop 3bets or shoves, games took forever again because people just doubled up once i got chiplead

I hate this stupid black HEM2 graph...yuck. I'm sticking to HEM just for this. In these graphs, what else can you show? like EV, showdown winnings etc? I see you can also just isolate winrate.

I've wanted to test out HEM2 but so much negativity about it...

not worth it, i wish i still had HEM1 tbh. it's slow as ****, nothing seems to work smooth, graph looks like ****. when i bought hem1 HEM2 was already in beta or something, so i got a "free upgrade", which also means i lost my hem1 license by upgrading. prob gonna test PT4, heard nothing bad about that so far.

+1 HEM1 ftw (for now). Although I do believe the graph can be changed to "classic" view, where it is white background with green line again.

Def try out PT4 asap, while it's in free beta. I've been importing all my hands to it every week or so, but tbh I'm still very much stuck on HEM1 - PT4 at the moment seems OK to me, but no real reason to use it over HEM1. The HEM1 graph overview (such as what I post itt) and the dataview is perfect for me, all information I want quick access to - that and it'll take me a long time to re-make my HUD. I really should though before it goes paid and we get a time limit. I would like to make use of stats unavailable in hem1, such as what goes on in limped pots. PT has a certain demeanour about them, can rub some people up the wrong way.

My day:

Stake: $3.50
Tables/Format: 1 Table, Hyper
Number of Games: 40
HEM Hours: 2.1h
Network: Stars

Notes: Feels Like I haven't played in ages, it's only been 4 days! took the long weekend off playing due to watching the formula 1 st awkward times, so being super-tired, and visiting my friend to check out his fancy new 3d hdtv, pretty awesome 47" LG, do want!

Decent results today, was getting concerned with breakevenredline then a lovely upswing in my last session make me feel much better. obv worthless sample size but it still niggles me when redline isn't going up.

Want to really up the volume, DONT STAKE ME pg&c thread = sick, should be able to get lots of motivation just from reading that lol - but still it's my first day playing in ages and only 2.1 hours

Hooray to having this thread back!

So while 2+2 was down I finished out making the required $100 buyin roll for the $7s in the last few days of April, results:

Stake: $3.50
Tables/Format: 1 Table, Hyper
Number of Games: 719
HEM Hours: 36.2h
Network: Stars

Notes: Super-stoked obviously, 9.4% EVROI plus running above that overall makes for a very happy and fairly quick run through the first level I put in any kind of volume.

So I moved up to the $7s, which haven't been very kind at all so far!

Stake: $7
Tables/Format: 1 Table, Hyper
Number of Games: 328
HEM Hours: 15.6h
Network: Stars

Notes: Almost half the volume I put in at the previous level already, similar for time (not really a surprise, still single tabling), and not even in profit yet

One of the days in this made me feel almost sick. Throughout this couple of weeks I've been experiencing both type of runbad - below EV obv from the graph, but also the redline-damaging card distribution runbad that I find so much more hard to stomach. It's getting easy for me to play a losing day and have a reasonable redline and just think oh well this happens both ways - but it's far harder to remember the occasions card distribution is in your favour. There's a ton of it in this graph though, so I def feel it's running bad and can't last. lots of "first shove" hands running into not only a better but a high card dominating hand, if not often KK+ at least four flop checkraise/4bet jams with top two+ running in to the improbable flopped nut straight, two of those in back to back games was one of those feeling sick moments!

But oh well keep on trucking EVROI still quite satisfactory despite all that, opponents at this stake are clearly sometimes better than at the $3.50 but still mostly terrible
