Notes: Light day today, occasional games interspersed wth reading chunks of the Mersenneary Ebook and forum browsings. I swear I do so much better when I just play occasional games, taking a break after each one... but that's terrible for volume. Obv there's some redline rungood in there today too, but there must be something going awry when I just chain game after game instantly loading the next as soon as the last is over. I'm not consciously aware of doing anything different though, maybe my ability to notice things just degrades? or I'm carrying subtle tilt that I don't notice (I for sure take a break if I actually feel rage).
Spent some time with the husng.com variance calculator, lol that's a scary thing. even a 57% winrate could have had a 500 game stretch far worse than my november/december at the $7s, certainly helps put things in perspective! But it also suggests the importance of large volume, 1500 game graphs are a much less volatile beast. Toying with the idea of increasing tables, but that is directly opposite to my results being way worse continuous sessions so I need to figure that out sharpish, or maybe try to play huge sessions 1 tabling but with always a short break.
