Apologies if this or something akin to this had been asked before, but what are the main differences between say a $100 and a 1k hyper reg skill wise?

I assume the $100 reg is quiet competent or he wouldn't be reg. Is it a bankroll thing? Has the 1k reg a better understanding of GTO? Or is it simply the 1k is better?

The 1k player does everything better. They don't make small mistakes, they don't fail to adjust, they don't allow themselves to continually get exploited in any significant way. The 1k reg has a deep understanding of how the game works and can adjust to someone much quicker than a 100s reg.

Very true! If the difference is in just one thing, it would be easy to learn that skill and move up quickly. (Un)fortunately there are so many small leaks you need to plug to improve and move up.

you've been fooled

i know some $100 regs that i feel are better than some 1k regs!

i know this because i used to be a $100 reg a couple years ago, since then ive reached $1K's and beyond. now $1K's are too small for me.


1k regs dont want $100 regs to move up and challenge their bottom line.

hes a 10k reg right now, thats over 9000.
