PokerStars, €23.25 + €1.75 - Hold'em No Limit - 15/30 - 2 players
Hand delivered by Upswing Poker

SB: 965 (32 bb)
BB (Hero): 535 (18 bb)

Pre-Flop: (45) Hero is BB with 4 5
SB calls 15, Hero checks

Flop: (60) A 3 K (2 players)
Hero checks, SB checks

Turn: (60) 7 (2 players)
Hero ?

According to the solver, we shouldn't bet here... Basically we shouldn't bet any draw on this board. it looks very strange to me as we have a hand with no showdown value and able to improve on the river. Can you guess why?

I add this hand which is actually funny. I had misslooked my hand, I thought it was QQ. But it turned out to have been played fine. Turn is either a jam or a pot bet according to the solver. The point is why??

Pre-Flop: (60) Hero is BB with J Q
SB calls 20, Hero raises to 120, SB calls 80

Flop: (240) 9 K Q (2 players)

54s:

I think a lot of players have a much higher equity check back range than GTO on this flop flop, so generally we should be leading the turn a lot less often. Check down seems good to me.

I'd probe the turn and will continue on many rivers.

In general, it's good to know how does villain limping range look like and how does he construct his check back range.

People tend to check back a lot of weak hands in limped pots, so they can't stand multiple street aggression.

Even if action goes xx, and you are OOP, you should attack their ranges very very wide.

If this was a raised pot, I wouldn't bet the turn.

I am also curious, why don't we probe any of our draws? It's really interesting.

Edit: you can minraise this pre vs some opponents

Too late to edit my post. I thought this was a raised pot. I'm half pot probing turn here also, mostly for reasons Vvvv said already. I'm not leading turn with any weaker combos than this though, so definitely leading a stronger overall range than GTO.

all right thanks. I thought it was a strange check back. I noticed that I need to analize the gto solutions with carefullness as many players's game significantly diverge from it
