There’s nothing wrong with your raise, you have to go for value when you have it. You have a ton of missed draws in your range.

Unless you think you have a spewy image to V, or he is a big fish, dont raise river.
You aren't repping anything less then 8x except a weird bluff line. But then you would have bet out on the river.

What about flop? Aren't flops like that good for cbet?

I prefer cbet on flop. It simplifies the hand, and particularly vs an aggro reg your Qhigh showdown is often going to get compromised on flop or later so better to just turn it into semibluff equity.

As played bet turn seems good, but given the aggro read I like the x/call. River could be a donk, but again given aggro read I like the x/r play. Important to note that many aggro regs are more aggro with both bluffs and thin value--so there are a lot of plausible bluff-catchers in his range and it's easy for them to decide you don't have enough value (runner runner 8x is somewhat random feeling) and look you up.

Where is the value in c/r as opposed to c/c?
Unless V is an idiot, he is only calling or repopping with 9x and better.
So only value is worse 9x hands, which is ofc way too thin.

cbet flop seems to make life easier
i think quite often i do like chkback with Qhigh and delay turn then. Jx would cbet more often if not always.
river feels like call is good but i prefer simple dimple klickback so all bluffcatchers would feel disgusted to have to look up what ya got.
