***DISCLAMER - THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY***
***If you are HokieGreg or Gkeuler you can just ignore this post as obviously you won't learn anything useful.***

This advice won't be perfect and in fact some might just be downright horrible. I encourage any counter points, critique, and disucssions if they are going to be in a civil manner. All you haters can go $#!+ a brick and go back to charging $300 for advice.

This thread is the 2nd half of a hand history review that I am doing for scizorshock. The first half can be found at:

BTN/SB raises to t80, Hero calls t40

Hero checks, BTN/SB bets t120, Hero folds

Final Pot: t160
BTN/SB wins t160
I like a call of a minraise PF with K6s. He CBs big on a board that hits our PF oop calling range pretty well. Villain also has been limping and folding buttons some and not stabbing or CBing big all that often thus I'd think a strong range on average in this spot for him. We have bottom pair so a fold seems prudent.

We are at 25bb effective stacks. I think this is Villain's first shove on us and it's fairly big. I really doubt he'd do this with a big pair. Also, Villain has had no problems 3 betting us small in the past as he had done a few times so it's not like he is in standard shove mode yet. Likely hands could be small pairs or Ax type hands (many worse than ours). I think A8o is strong enough to call with. I'd love to here Mers's advice on this as he plays a bunch of super turbos.

It's not a bad idea to see if he'll let us limp but I'd still come in with a minraise here rather than invite him to limp punish us with a hand that can't call a raise.

PF is fine. I'd usually lead this flop with a good middle pair. If he raises me and he isn't playing aggmonkey then I'd fold. Given that you checked and he bet big, it's a dicey spot. We are too deep for me to want to stack off middle pair and a lot of overs/flush cards can come and since he does follow up with a 2nd barrel fairly often.

Could go either way facing a minraise with a crap Ax hand unless we are short enough to shove which we aren't. Facing a 3x it would have been an easy fold.

Jesus. How do you get in these spots lol. I was going to say jam over his 2 or 3x raise sizes he is mixing around. Why the hell would be 6x it? It seems he really wants to you jam or fold. Since you are playing so tight I really doubt he does this with any bigger ace or med-big pairs. That leaves possibly small pairs or worse Ax hands. Mers, help us out here, please!

Shove this PF. Under 20bb this is easily +EV while oop it might not be given how much he is running us over. I just looked back at this hand again. What do you think about a check-shove here? He is really putting out a lot of chips often so his range can't be all strong. Also since he limps some these low crap cards can be discounted a little from his range. You do have a fair amount of outs if called (gutter, maybe 2 overs).

Given this guy loves to do silly small raises and attack us, I don't like this limp/call PF.

At least you had 1 out when you got it in lol... this guy seems to have run mostly like god and really messed with us a bunch. Huge donk bets, small reraises, big CBs, attacking limps... It is very hard to adjust to all these in combination.

Our opponent seemed to really have pulled a Jeckyl and Hyde on us. He didn't seem all that aggressive earlier in the game but this last half certainly was tough. I wouldn't go for a rematch lol!

I look forward to any good comments/questions/concerns. I hope you had a fun read and learned something.

hand 91 is brutal bad pre given what I've seen. Talk about what you've seen from his opening range, his different sizings, etc, A6o's equity when calling the flop, and A6o's likely equity when folding. That may help you find some broader leaks. But definitely a shove, and a great hand to look at and talk about to think about your BB leaks.

I probably jam the A8 since you called the mersphone on it, but it's definitely quite close and weird.

skimming per usual

I love it... the mersphone... though does the mersephone or mersaphone or mersophone sound better?

Hand number 78 is the A8 hand he is referring to. If villain had been using huge PF raises sizes more often, I'd snap jam but as looking at the rest of the HH he only used them a couple times so I wasn't sure what to do. Many villains telegraph their range strength with different raise sizes.
