My post was more of a question than a statement.

You make some good points, but I'm not totally convinced. For example, I think Crimson could definitely handle a 1% 5k game stretch in these. After rakeback that's not too horrible at the volume he plays.

Yah maybe Crimson is crazy enough and multitables enough for it to be worth it even at 1% ROI. I guess it comes down to STs vs reg/turbos for hourly etc. Also the fun/different factor could make it worth playing STs. I wonder what the ratio of STs to other HU sngs is that get played. Based on the lobbies and game lengths, I'd guess about 3 STs to every other HU SNG combined.

as to chigory's question, i would guess it's just like anything else. like in sports, the batting avg champ will be one of the best hitters, but he will also have hit above expectation for the season(usually). but in poker it's probably more so. if you take a smallish sample, say 2k games for super turbos, and a huge field of players, the leaders will undoubtedly have run super hot and be very good.

or like everyone at the FT of a huge MTT, all ran insanely hot to get there.

dude , stop rofl before u choke yourself to death and post some basic guide on how to play those.

otherwise keep on laughing.

Every single other section in this forum has a basic guide , except the HU nl.
If anyone got time and +EV strategy at these super turbos please post it.

Didn't you know, there's no money heads up. Everyone is solid.

Here are some basic concepts for these superturbos though:
1. don't more than minraise from the button
2. raise your button often but if he starts reraising you often, you need to tighten up
3. call in the big blind tight
4. never fold a pair preflop

@pokerfun play a lot of regular HUSNGs then you'll maybe have a chance at superturbos. Profitting there at all requires a strong endgame and since I've seen you play $1s I'm pretty sure you lack there

fwiw I agree that 4/5% roi is BS, probably just a hot run. I even think that for anyone but very good players these things are kinda worthless to play since edges are super thin and come down to very detailed plays (specific watch of timing tells in combination with gameflow etc). If I were a low/mid or even mid-high stakes player I'd stick to normal turbos or reg speeds.

If anyone wants to prop bet on their success in super-turbos I would love to wager against them . I'd be interested in simple terms and would offer odds on the right deal. Have up to 20k to fire (all I got online).

Make an offer with terms. A lot depends on time-frame and your reputability since it's easy for me to get scammed in this kind of bet, especially with odds.

Couldn't you just do it with an escrow?

Have any of you developed a better HUD for these superturbos? Different factors are more important here than in a regular HU SNG so just wondering if you use the same HUD as your reg games or made a specialized one.

Odds on 3% roi, 350s/500s/1ks, 2k game sample, avg stake $500+?
