The core pieces of our Study Group are the bi-weekly HH Reviews and strategy discussions.

Anyone can join, only requirment is active partipation in our private forum. We only accept 10 members and 4 places are already filled, so those who react fastest will get the spots. So far our members play $3,5-$15 games.

we and some other guys from 2+2 have a study group for regular/turbo husng`s which is structured the same way the group founded by butitswrong is (he was part of our group until he decided to only play hypers)

The core is a biweekly HH review where two members send out their HHs to the other 8 members (we have a maximum of 10 members). The reviews will be collected and all reviews will be posted in our study group Forum.

In this Forum we also talk general Poker Strategy etc.

From January on we will start to make a weekly theory session via skype and mikogo (NO live sweats! just talking HHs, maybe Hands from 2+2 etc)

Tools you should have to be part of our group:

- Registering to Aimoo Forums and taking active part in it
- Skype
- Mikogo
- Pokerstove

Optional Tools:

- Universal Replayer
- Camtasia Studio or other Video Recording Software


If you think you have already mastered all the fundamentals perfectly, we are probably a waste of time for you. Just to make that clear. We are playing everywhere from the 3.5$ to the 30$ and feel that we have to improve a lot. We try to be humble, respect each other and try hard to become better players. That's all what we expect from new members.

Of course we also include advanced topics in our forum if it seems reasonable. Most of us are also members of husng.com.

Hey guys, just getting good at the single table SNG's on Stars, just wondering if there are any regs floating around... maybe study and pick up stuff off of each other's games, etc... I'm basically just looking for a few people to discuss "What did you think of this play?" "Should I have fired a 3rd barrel" etc. I usually 4-8 table the 3.50 and 7$ STSNG about 7 hours a day. I'm a US player, was in the $5-$10 HUSNG skill level last I checked (black Friday), still regularly playing play-money games on Stars but I'd like something with a bit more follow-up (eg: a study group) and theory emphasis.

I also write poker software, currently working on a program somewhat like stove but instead of calculating equity vs. a monolithic range, this graphs and maps equity vs. each hand volumetrically. Finishing that up and working on equity projections, etc, etc. Not earth-shatting stuff, just offering visualization tools to help beginners churn through the first 6-24 months of learning in a more intuitive way.

Anyway, I'm looking for a group that meets regularly, preferably has a standing 24-hour presence like a skype chat room, utilizes screensharing and sweats and has a good pay-it-forward mentoring angle.
