We've had a lot more activity recently with regards to study groups. Please post in this thread if you're looking for a study partner, buddy, group, peer or anything else related to that.

Please be careful about posting information (screen names, messenger names and any personal stuff) in this thread or sharing with others you do not know. Study groups, chats, private messenger interaction and other similar means of communication are often the fastest and most popular ways for malicious users to look for victims to scam/steal from.

Please also follow these basic rules and guidelines, most are site wide rules (PM myself or any other moderator if you have any questions prior to posting):

Do not post real life information such as phone numbers, full names or addresses.

Hello everyone! I've started playing husng's this year and am liking them a lot more then other forms of poker. I've been playing them exclusively this year, and plan to continue to do so.

While I started out good, I think I got over confident and destroyed a bit of my game, having my first six lost streak over the last weekend. After reviewing the games, it seemed like I wasn't folding enough to villians cbets, and pretty much just thinking they are bluffing way to much. Also I wasn't playing abc and was trying to play a bit to tricky.

Anyway, I currently play the $5 regulars on full tilt and would like to study with a more experienced player. I am usually playing 9pm-2am cst and most weekends. Out of 144 games, I am currently at 78/66

And I'm "bodhisoma" on skype, I play the $5 HUSNG regular speeds on FT, am definitely interested in being part of a study group. I've got the ability to screenshare as well as record video sessions as well as review the play of any $1 or $2 players who might be struggling.

I wouldn't hold myself out as much of a good review buddy on the $5's tho because I'm not entirely sure I'm a winning player.

So I'm starting a HUSNG study group. Whee.

Anyone is welcome but since a bunch of people playing a ton of different games/formats can't help each other too effectively, people who aren't playing HUSNG can expect to get a lot less out of this, game-wise.

A core function of the group is to set up a weekly coaching tree whereby a player records one/some/all of their games and submits the vid to another player for analysis and commentary, a leakfinder vid, basically. "One" isn't the max, you can do as many sweats as you want but you'll pretty much be expected to do at least one per week.

This means screencapturing and a mic will pretty much be required.

We'll also be meeting up ~once a week to plan, discuss, basically to just keep everyone coordinated.

Not gonna be a lot of rules but the first one is directed at me before anyone else; no bitching about beats. One sentence, fine, keep it to that because we all have 'em and really, nobody is gives a crap and it tends to spread.

^^^ Different group but I can definitely vouch for Duncelanas -- he plugged some huge holes in my game and moved me from $1's to beating $5's in about a week.
