Villain was a fish had 20ish hands on him folded to 0/3 cbets check raised 1/3 which was top pair on a previous paired board?

My thinking was shoving here gives him a chance to make the biggest mistake as i thought he had no 8x in his range?

What about closing yoir or range? Given that he doesnt fold much to cbet, isn't 42o kinda weak?

Aggainst this opponent, min raising or limping this hand is going to have a better expectstion than folding

Why? He doesn't appear to fold to cbets - you need to make a hand to beat him and 42o rarely makes a big hand.

Given that he calls down with J high I would say you cant play 42 profitable most times against this guy.

i dont know what your trying to ask with this hand?

openraising 42o is pretty bad, cbet size is blah if your playing against a good player and also versus some1 who hasn't folded to cbets yet. River shove you'd never getting a bet in anymore if you'd be up against any decent player unless they have 4 or 8 or click the wrong button.
So basically you would be valuetowning yourself.

Ofcourse this player is pretty awfull so its a mandatory jam.

Basically that was it whether it was a mandatory river jam.... and wehther others would be playing it similarly post flop.... and as for the minraise ive had slightly better expectation over the last 5k games min raising the very bottom trash hands 32o 53o e.t.c around 8-10bb albiet in this is example we are12bb effective stacks cheers for the feedback

Yes easily mandatory because of chop possibilities. I also don't get why you didn't small bet turn since turn card is good for villain's range which called the flop, and I don't see him folding ANY of that range to a small bet.

Another thing is villain made a slight mistake otr. If he is going to call for a chopped pot then I have no idea why he wouldn't just shove himself. It's kind of a small negative EV freeroll for him.
