Thanks for the detailed breakdown here, I appreciate you taking this thread as seriously as I have.

As far as your comment goes, there's no real way to bumhunt these unless every single reg decides to 1) buy this software and 2) avoid each other.

That's not going to happen due to the way registration works. If there's a 200 person reg line (and this will happen way before the line is anywhere near that mark), there is clear incentive to "sit other regs." I say it that way, because if I decide to sit player A, there's at best a 66% chance I actually get into a game with them. And even then, there's still another random player with us.

So it's not like heads up, where the tool encourages bumhunting.

I'm not going to claim it's the perfect balance, but I would bet anything that the tool results in a far more fair balance for grinders of this game, without destroying the games by building a situation where single players are targeted.

Incorrect. HUSNG.com, which I personally own half of, has less than 1/8 of an interest in this software. This software was happening one way or another, and I wanted to get involved so that we could avoid the issues we had with the HUSNG software, where we had ownership banning players for ridiculous reasons, treating the community in a hostile way and refusing to make changes that a majority of users wanted.

And really, a lot of the negative posts in this thread do not apply to this software, they apply to the HUSNG software. You have to look at the features and impact to see that though. A lot of false things are said, just like the last quote here. I have no huge financial interest in this. If anything, this software is insurance for me not to have to spend dozens of hours helping save the damn game from crazy people who don't seem to care about the community and essentially dare Stars to take negative actions on the game. That's what happened with the HUSNG software, and I don't want to be put in that situation again.

99% its your firewall or antivirus blocking SpinWiz, so if you add exception or disable while trying to log in, it should be fine. If this doesn't help and you need further assistance, add SpinWiz support on skype.

what stakes is this program really practical for at this point? Is it wrong to assume at the 15s and below it it not really vital to have yet?
Thanks

Well, after restarting, $60 was ticked and I din't notice... $120 dollars down the drain with an avg buy-in of usually $4.

Unfortunate way to lose your money, sorry to hear that. The software does not however tick any stakes for you, but it remembers the settings from your previous session. So you probably accidentaly ticked it in the previous session.

yep, that's what probably happened... wasn't trying to discredit SpinWiz, but maybe put in another "security" step to limit buy-ins

Sorry that happened to you, best way to do that would be for you to restrict higher buy ins in PokerStars.

Guys, any chance you can consider your update policy on that program? So far i basically had to update almost daily...
Now i was using 2.0.0.9 which was stable, now i was forced to update to 2.0.1.0 which goes completly crazy on me when i reg tables. Why do you force all those updates? Why not just have the choice if one version works for someone to leave it at that..?

Usually we force the update when there are changes in the server as well, so you wouldn't be seated with the users that are using other versions. The 2.0.0.7 version was unchanged for a while. We implemented the 2.0.0.8. update to be able to give more tables per hour for our users and also be able to mix stakes properly. Version 2.0.0.8 had some bugs however and we released 2.0.0.9. and 2.0.1.0. to fix them. At first people at 30$ buyin and lower were getting too many tables, but something appearently went wrong with the 2.0.1.0. version and 60$ buyin players also started to get too many registrations into random tables. Now we have uploaded the stable version 2.0.0.7. to our website, we recommend players that have problems roll back to that version. Also for fixing the bugs in the new release, it would be really helpful of players who had problems reported to spinwizsupport skype:

-What kind of problem you had
-Which stake(s) did you play
-What is the spin and go tournament window name when you are seated
-What kind of lobby theme are you using
-Did you recognize any pattern in the appearing of the unwanted tables

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Some buyers asked about making the que list visible to all users, for transparency sake. I've always liked this idea for any SNG registration program.

What about buyers of SpinWiz, do you like that potential change?

what a brilliant idea

I think this comment is a good definition of what is wrong with todays game
