As far as your comment goes, there's no real way to bumhunt these unless every single reg decides to 1) buy this software and 2) avoid each other.
That's not going to happen due to the way registration works. If there's a 200 person reg line (and this will happen way before the line is anywhere near that mark), there is clear incentive to "sit other regs." I say it that way, because if I decide to sit player A, there's at best a 66% chance I actually get into a game with them. And even then, there's still another random player with us.
So it's not like heads up, where the tool encourages bumhunting.
I'm not going to claim it's the perfect balance, but I would bet anything that the tool results in a far more fair balance for grinders of this game, without destroying the games by building a situation where single players are targeted.

Incorrect. HUSNG.com, which I personally own half of, has less than 1/8 of an interest in this software. This software was happening one way or another, and I wanted to get involved so that we could avoid the issues we had with the HUSNG software, where we had ownership banning players for ridiculous reasons, treating the community in a hostile way and refusing to make changes that a majority of users wanted.
And really, a lot of the negative posts in this thread do not apply to this software, they apply to the HUSNG software. You have to look at the features and impact to see that though. A lot of false things are said, just like the last quote here. I have no huge financial interest in this. If anything, this software is insurance for me not to have to spend dozens of hours helping save the damn game from crazy people who don't seem to care about the community and essentially dare Stars to take negative actions on the game. That's what happened with the HUSNG software, and I don't want to be put in that situation again.
