I know how crazy variance in spins may be, and have read countless times -300 buyin under Ev are common.

I am playing with 60 chEv in last 8000 games and lost 180 buyin.(should have won around 230 ) and under -110k between chEv and the result.

I have tried to access SwongSim but I couldn't, could someone tell me how likely is such a streak. Almost lost my desire to play, so really have some insight from you guys.

You pay a few buy ins, it depends on the level you play, generally from 1 to 2 buy ins a month.
My pool works this way:
EV realization depends of EV ROI (player), If you have EV ROI=1%, Coeff (pool)= -0,1, then Final ROI(player) = 0,9% EV realization 0,9%/1% = 0,9 or 90% of your final EV
If you have EV ROI=4%, Coeff (pool)= -0,1, then Final ROI(player) = 3,9%, EV realization 3,9%/4% = 0,975
Example
2 players 1000 tourney on 100s

1 player win EV 1000$
2 player win EV 4000$

Their total BI is the same.
TotalBI 1000*100 = 100000

EV ROI = EV / Total Bi 100

EV ROI 1 player 1%
EV ROI 2 player 4%

For example, Coeff -0.1%

All players have a same BI, then corr will be a same to.
player corr = coefftotal BI

-0,1% * 100000 = -100$

Final result = EV result + corr
1 player final result 1000 +(-100) = 900
2 player final result 4000 +(-100) = 3900

EV realization for player 1 is 0.9 (900 from 1000)
EV realization for player 2 is 0.975 (3900 from 4000)

How have the pools been going? I had concerns on what happens if a player just bails on paying out one month, since it seems that loss would get passed to all members of the pool. Wondering how frequently (if at all) that is happening.

i think that with cEV thats not much above BE point over 8k games cannot expect much different.
this time dude hit the worser end of variance, other times will make this 200buy ins.

also 60cEV has more than likely confirmed that winrates across different positions are weak thus work on the game required.

unless OP plays like $50+ stakes.

why do you say to forget about chEv? Isn't it the ultimate criteria?

HU BB 7.51 BB/100
HU SB 12.125 BB/100
3WAY BUTTON 29.34 BB/100
3WAY SB 0.54 BB/100
3WAY BB -2.76 BB/100

HU winrates, especially SB can be improved for a start.

do not know how to filter bvb winnings in Pokertracker. Can you help me with that?

i dont use pt4 as such so dont know how its done there.

but you can try to filter something like that
for example SB unopened
set filter to players in hand3, table size3, position SB, preflop action facing:Unopened

this filter should give your ev/bb BvB unopened. (i have it at 10)
after filtering can look up some HH if indeed only one position is selected.

Then repeat for BBvsSB L/R

SB unopened usually quite stable position, now lookin it up saw something funky over about 1k hands in the end. interesting



probably rather standart variance thats not eyepoking over say 50k hands or firerun thats normalising now
