I remember a while back there was a website that offered a subscription service for access to their HU GTO bot. The bot was apparently based off of same neural network technology that powers Libratus/Deepstack. All you did was put in the cards, the action, and it would give you advice in real time, within the browser. It's not GTORangeBuilder or anything like that. It was a very simple website with just a video tutorial of the bot in action. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Are 3-person Spin and Go profitable in any way? I just started playing and I enjoy this type of game the most.

I found spin max to be very fishy. I pick like seven straight smallest prize when won recently. a random pick on top of random prize, it is just too much. I think it is just a black box without transparency.

as a returnee im looking to try hyper husngs out. Ill mainly be staying at 1.5s on stars as i dont like playing for big money. im a micro grinder.

Now is there some video pack or bunch of articles/free videos that will give me all the tools needed to beat that 1.5s stake if i put hard work into it ? I have looked at husng but man those packs are expensive and several years old.

You don't need to spend any money to beat $1.5s or even a level or two above. There is some free material, but mainly just play and post hands on the forums here, read the free threads here.

The packs are more affordable than most else out there and are designed for low to mid stakes players.

HS guys primarily study in small groups and/or receive private coaching.

No worries at all. This thread should technically say "beginner/general HU/Spins questions" but at the time it was made we had two separate threads, so it can be confusing!

I'm back to Hypers after a few years break from online. I have Fydor_8's course that I bought just before I quit (well played ). I only intend to play the Micros (Stars, or elsewhere if recommended) hopefully moving up to $15 if spare time allows. Purely as a semi serious hobby, with no intention of progressing...I'd be quiet happy to beat the $7 over a large sample tbh.

But at the same time I want to do it right. I can commit 20-25hrs a week, and I don't want to waste any study time with outdated/irrelevant material. Is this course enough for the stakes I intend to play in 2017?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Generally anything that was once good is going to be good enough to help you at the very low stakes, up to and including $7s.

When you start to hit $15s and definitely $30s, to be a winning player is often going to depend more on some other factors outside a mere $50-300 video pack investment (prior skills, discipline, private coaching, software).

I'd say if you thought it helped you originally, give it a watch as a refresher and play some $3.50-7s and see how things are going, reevaluate as needed.

Thanks for the reply, Sir. Please excuse my ignorance as I'm sure what I'm about to ask has been asked before...many times. Is a HUD necessary at such low stakes(up to $7)? Is 50BI enough up to $7, in general ? Are the likes of Coffee Calcs or the Math pack a good addition to have or would a good understanding and straight forward 'solid' poker be enough.
Again, I'm sure, all the above have been asked before but the last thing I want is to spend time/money on anything that, although helpful, might not necessarily be needed at the bottom of the barrel.

I'd just stick with free stuff up to $7 unless you have a healthy budget and want to maximize the investment and minimize learning/relearning curve.

As far as recs, CoffeeHUD is good, Pbogz pack is really nice for your level too. CoffeeCalcs is pretty easy to use and quite helpful as well.

Hey everyone, the new kid here.

I've been playing $3 Spin n Go's on Party Poker with some success but recently I've run into an issue (which is probably completely stupid).

Most of the players play passively on the flop and/or turn - seeing a cbet -> raise or check raise is exceedingly rare, most of them call even with low pairs or none. But on the river they dunk a large amount (either pot sized or all in). How should one react in cases where you don't have top pair or there is a possible straight draw on the board? This seems to have become the go to strategy there.

At low stakes it seems, often, improbable that you would scare off anyone with a low/mid pair by betting a lot or that you'll scare off a flush/straight draw (even if it is a -EV decision).
