Re: Spin and Go Beginners Thread

One question, how legal are these stables contracts? For example in my country poker is aloof, and it is a game of chance, as in many other countries

Re: Spin and Go Beginners Thread

The matter is not if poker is seen as a game of chance or not, but wether poker contracts are legally binding or not. In my country (Sweden), the law does not recognize these contracts.

But there is ways around this issue, like security deposits and such. And legally you could also set up other legally binding contracts I guess. Also you could have an agreement which is legally binding upon a certain law, which means the contract operates under that countrys laws. Then you have a whole other question which is "Is the court order from country X acknowledged in my country as means to get me to pay what I'm owed"...

TLDR; Every country has different laws on the matter, but in general it's probably not very binding, legally. But there's ways around it, if we're gonna be theoretical.

if you are a citizen outside of europe, there is a 0% chance those contracts are legally binding in your country

Re: Spin and Go Beginners Thread

Hey, thanks! In the contract that I have, does not speak about any law in particular the truth, only says that "if these obligations are breached you have to pay x $" and such.
And i do not live in europe.
I did not do anything wrong, I just wanted to know, it seems that this contract will never end lol

How stupid are these stables? Legally there is no chance they can force you to pay that sum then.

*Hey Stablecrew, you need a lawyer?*

Yeah but they can trash your name/reputation on the forums and making it really hard for you to get accepted by any other stable.

Re: Spin and Go Beginners Thread

Hi, I'm a new sping & go player (I play micro-small stakes spin and goes).
I just want to understand the game, and to develop some good skills before moving up in stakes.
I don't have much money to put in learning resources, so I was looking at two product by HUSNG: "Math in Husngs" by Coffeyay and "Crushing the fish" by Sentin.

I've studied a bunch of free videos around the web about HU hyper strategy, so I'm not a total beginner.
Wich pack would you suggest between the two to improve my HU strategy?
thank you

Re: Spin and Go Beginners Thread

Neither. Probably Pbogz's pack is your best bet at a low price point.

(My math pack is for adding a mathematical understanding to your game, but you should have some basics first and need guidance on improving your game on your own through fine-tuning. It's more of a specialist pack. Seems like you'd likely benefit from a bit more of a guide pack.)

For spins, what's a good sample size for estimating your winning rate? I'm playing party's 4 player ones, if it makes a difference.

People would say 3-10k games, but I think it's a big overestimation, because evne though it's true people can run extremely good and extremely bad with both cards, board texture and everything in between it's a low case scenario.

1k games and you got a "resonable" impression, but with deviation on 1-3% +/- ev (normally) IMO

Re: Spin and Go Beginners Thread

Hi guys a question!
I want to find my standard deviation, how do I?
hm2 exists on a stat . std dev. bb or an equal but for 100 hands.
as in my bb is 5.7 .for 100 and 50.7 hands!
What is involved in the game?
more variance?
how can I evaluate it?
Thank you for the answer?

Hi mates

A question: what adjusments do i need to make from spins to twisters? Twisters have faster structures and includes antes. Do i need to wider my ranges in every position? Are twister a more variance game than spins?

I think you should calculate range variations through icm! Adding ante! And if you can even change the structure of the bb!
If you're one who's just playing it is not easy!
I'm sorry if I've written slots! But at least I've tried to answer you!

Re: Spin and Go Beginners Thread

Go to report: choose the reports you want!
Click stats: is the small squared arrow left under the top menu.
You open a window with all the stat you can enter:
In the top right-hand bar, enter EV $ chips.
Then use the down arrow to bring it to the left column and you will see the result.

Is it a good idea to make one post with best resources for learning Spins? I'm interested in starting or joining a low-stakes study group as well.

Great free video's can be found @ spinsng dot com, and then under the 'learn' page (how to crush $x spins' by iJustgamble. Anyone else has good free recources they'd like to share? And what about studying HUSNG material to get my game up a bit?

    Thanks @DJ

Question: is there a way to estimate and/or calculate the amount of equity you would need extra by calling a BT shove from the SB, depending on the type of villain behind you.

For example: vs an 12bb openshove from the BT the direct equity I'd need to call from the SB would be around 45%. But because the BB is yet to act, I would call a bit more tight in general. Is there a way to get a good estimation as to how much more equity we would be looking for? So f.e. Vs a 80% vpip villain I'd usually call 5% more tight, etc.

    Makes sense?
