Is this worth $300 for a beginner like me? Obviously if it makes me a winning player I will recoup my investment within a few months but would I also need some HU videos as that pack concentrates on 3 way. I've downloaded the free husng ebook is that a good starting point?

Hi,

I got a short question: currently playing the 50c and 1$ stakes at ipoker, my roll isnt big enough to get icmizer2.. but i want to improve my pof game.
i found the tool called simple nash, which is free atm.

my Problem is, there is no "twister" preset for the payout structure. so my first question: have the blind structures ever changed or is the blind Level list posted some month/years ago still valid?

my second question is, if the pof decision is determined correctly, cause i cant Switch the ICM method to "cev" for the quiz.

anyone here using this tool? would love some help!

thanks in advance!

I have a newbie question. Are 9,4+0,6(rake)$ HU turbo beatable? If yes by how much?

Definitely beatable with most popular turbo structures out there. By how much, I don't have a good answer for you.

Hi, i just started to play spins. I just have a little sample, i know, but i dont know how to measure if i am doing good or bad in these. I have a net chips won very above of the evChips, so im running good i guess. Howewer i just manage to have 1% ROI. I am going to post my data, so if anybody can help me to know how to interpret these it will be very helpful. Here is the link https://gyazo.com/4dff35e045fb6068a0340376ab689b8d

can somebody tell me how joking these games are?

since days of playing, the first 6x multiplier, first hand, somebody raise allin with AJ, i call AK, river J. That is just a ****ing joke???

Why is poker tracking saying with c net adjusted for the 6$ price pool in a 1$ buyin, that my expected c net adjusted is +0.40$ when losing first hand AK vs AJ. I don't understand this to be honest.

If this were a 2x prize pool and you were 70% when the money went in, then $0.40 ev would be right.
If you add the prize pool field to your report in PT4, what does it say the prize pool was in this game? Are you importing tournament summaries as well as hand histories into PT4?

how is the fiel called? I don't see a field price pool or similar to add to that row?

ah. i can create a report and click on edit tournament, there i do see the prize pool, it is correctly listet with 6$...

How do you hide the prize pool on Star's spins? I'm sure I seen this on 2+2 somewhere but can't find the post

What adjustments do you guys find you make at 4x/6x multipliers, if any? I seem to lose these at an alarmingly high rate and can only assume I'm not making the proper adjustment from the looser 2x ones.

If you're seeing people play tighter, adjust your play accordingly. If you're not sure what to do, post some questions in a stand alone thread about adjustments vs tighter opponents in spins.

I would work on making adjustments based on your observations, unless you play at similar levels to those that are giving you advice.

For example, if you're at the $7s, and a $100s player says "people play the same in the 4x/6x" I wouldn't necessarily take that advice to heart like I would strategical adjustment advice ("if a player does x, then you should do y to exploit that.").

This is a total noob question and I'm ashamed to even ask it but I have never played with charts before

I have some charts for opening hands preflop and need clarification on effective stacks. For example if I have 20bb, sb has 20 bb, and bb has 9bb would you use the chart for 20bb or 10bb? Heads up its always smallest stack but 3 handed gets messy. The shoving requirements are super wide at 9bb but if we shove too wide sb will own us as he has 20bb. I have been using the charts based on how many bb I have as this makes the most sense but as stack sizes vary it gets confusing which is why spins aren't cut and dry.

For what it's worth I'm not following the charts perfectly but I had 80+ cev at the 7s and then was only getting 40cev at the 15s so I bought some charts and saw that I was playing way too tight and was getting run over by all the regs. I'm now playing wider, red line isn't going down so fast and I'm enjoying the 15s more. Gg gl all

Hey mate - I was told to use the lowest stack still in the hand as effective stack.

So if the button has 9bb, but then open folds, and you in SB and the BB both have 20bb, then 20bb is effective stack.

If button has 20bbs and folds, and you are SB with 20bb, and BB has 9bbs, then effective stacks are 9bbs

Quick question: I added cEV in PT4 (through adding custom stat with formula (amt_expected_won / cnt_tourneys)) and while it shows in the report (currently @ cEV 55 but still learning spins so that's ok) it seems that it does filter out some results as the number of tourneys is 10% higher when I take this stat out of the report. Any idea what I might have done wrong?

dont know if it is the right forum(if no feel free to move it), but assume most of people here use sharky, so posted here

Wanted to ask if anyone of you have experienced issues with sharky as of late, mine stopped working on march 1st.
There were some issues before like regging more tourneys as supposed time to time, but that was not that bad
But now it is just not registering any tourneys at all, just runs down waitlist to 1 and stays there, than takes a lot of time when i try to stop it running

Tried validating, reinstalling, contacting support etc..just no luck sorting it out as of now

So just wanted to know if enyone else is having issues
Thanks

yeah, I had same thing, seems ps update causes that.
You have to use backup files in ps foldier to roll back update(just copy/paste them in ps foldier) and than launch ps from ps.exe, so it doesnt update.

have looked to find backup files (assume they should be in local disc/program files/ps/backup file), but there is nothing, probably due to fact I have completly reinstalled ps yesterday hoping that it would solve the issue.

Dont know if backup files can be from friends computer, but tried to copy them to mine (just copied all files from backup to local disc/program files/ps folder).

I tried to run that old version of ps from there, but got error.
PokerStars (2).exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point ?initWithImage@Texture2D@cocos2d@@QAE_NPAVImage@2@ _N@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library libcocos2d.dll.

Am I doing something wrong, or it wont just work with files prom another pc?
Thanks a lot for the help

Hi All,

Playing Spin for a while... so far i'm doing allright.

I bought Sentins VideoPack but i'm not convinced.

Now i see here that Coffeeyays pack is advised but allthough i can afford it, the guy started a new stable so he is probably doing NEW stuff over there....?

Right now i'm watching the 1st lesson (32') from Spinbeast (BigHusla) videopack.
I hear not so good comments of this guy on the 2+2 site.

I found 2 other packs, c links below

http://spinandgostrategy.com/advancedconceptpack/

Any suggestions?

Thanks

My video-pack is concept based, and not reliant on population tendencies. So it's still up to date, and aims to give you the strong fundamentals you need to build up a strong poker game.

Has anyone grinded the Party Poker variant SNG Hero? How does the variance compare to Stars Spins and Go's?
