It should be very relevant to the $3 level and a few levels beyond for you. It's almost solely focused on 3 handed material as well (there's a HU primer which may be helpful for your level, but with many people already playing HUSNGs and there being a lack of 3 handed available, the pack mainly focuses on that).

I guess I am blind but how to exclude that stuff from the graph? I have the "graph with 'Winnings In: Chips' and 'Show All-In Equity' ticked in PT4's left panel" part but I cannot find the rest.

Thanks

Thanks for the help. Would you be able to recommend any free HU material that I could supplement the pack with? The pack would cost more than my current bankroll so buying some immediately would be a problem, and the HU part of spins seems like it might be even more important than the 3 handed part.

If you have zero heads up sng experience, you might decide to just buy Pbogz journey pack first, it's cheaper and will cover HU very well for your level.

Then when you build a bit of a bankroll, hopefully within a month or two, you'll be able to buy the primarily 3 handed beating spin and gos.

Alternatively, there are many great free HU videos on the HUSNGcom youtube channel. Coffeeyay, 307th, Pbogz, Currr are just several names to specifically look for.

Hello, i'm new here, congrats for this great forum.
Just a question about my spin&go "adventure", there is one thing i cannot understand: i play spins with 9% rake, and i currently have 61 chips ev per tournament. Considering the rake (9% so 45 chips) i don't understand why i'm losing about 70 buy ins (and the ev line in hm2 graph goes down as well). I have 37,1% itm. Shouldn't i be slightly winner? What am i missing?
Thank you for your time.

It could be because you are winning fewer chips per game than your ev or it could be due to getting more low multipliers than expected, or both.

Ty for your reply!
Yes, i'm winning 55 per game instead of 61, but what i don't understand is why according to my ev line i should lose anyway.

That could be due to getting more low multipliers than expected or it could be HM2 $ev line is not accurate for spins (I'm not familiar enough with HM2 at the moment to know for sure). I suggest focusing on your ev chips per game since that tells you how well you are doing on aspects you can control. glgl

So according to chips ev, playing 9% rake spins, you'd say that 61 chips ev is fairly decent?
ty very much, very kind.

Due to that high rake, it equates to 2% expected "long-term" ROI. So it is theoretically profitable in the long run, although there could be a lot of swings depending on the payout multiplier details. Rakeback/VIP will help that bottom line and swings, depending how much is available.

Is it possible to start playing Spin and Go as a complete beginner?
I play on PS.it and hu hypers have very low traffic at most levels, so I don't know where to improve my hu game.
I'm wondering if the spin and go pack would be beneficial to a beginner like me..
What do you guys think? Any advice is appreciated!

What buyin level do you play at? HU Hypers should have plenty of traffic for you at most levels until you get higher up.

What buyin would you start at in Spins and what is your HU hyper success look like so far?

I play 2€ hypers but would like to start playing 1€ Spins.
I think I'm a breakeven/slightly losing player at 2€ hypers (didn't play more than 500 games).

Whichever game you choose, I would probably just focus on putting in some good hours at the table, asking questions in this forum and make sure you're playing tilt free poker that focuses on decision making, not short term results.

We have some free videos for both formats at youtube.com/husngcom too.

SwongSim question.

is this graph saying over 5500 game sample, that I have a 70% chance of winning $684?
or 70% of the time I will have $684 or less?
I'm a bit confused as to how to read the percentages and how they correlate to actual winnings.

70% of the time I will have $684 or less, and the other 30% of the time I will have more than $684.

More accurately, it's saying 70% of the simulations finished with $684 or less, under those settings.

So how would I determine odds of likelihood? For instance how likely is it I end up with that actual amount? 70% can't be right.

The question to ask is "what's the likelihood I would end up in a particular range?" As you narrow the range, the likelihood always decreases, so asking about a very specific amount is not really useful. The chance that you end up at exactly $684 will be very small. But for the range $528 to $968, the likelihood is 20% (90% - 70%).

I usually look at ranges centered on 50%, like the 30% to 70% range where we expect to end up 40% of the time, and the 10% to 90% range where we expect to end up 80% of the time.

Yes, exactly what I meant. So you want to look into ranges and you subtract the high from the low to get you chance of success. Thank you very much

Hi all,
is there any kind of commercial software that shows you the actual effective stack in BB? Apparently PT4 and HM2 display the eff stack of the last hand imported so obv after a big pot or level change thats not going to help...

Hi there, beginner here. I was wondering what the highest ever recorded chipev/tourney is (over a reliable sample)? And theoretically, if you were absolutely crushing, what would be the highest possible chipev/tourney over a relevant sample?

Hello.

I'm not sure where to post this, but I want to know how you guys study to improve your game? I mean obv playing alot and reviewing handsessions is a good way to start, but how do you keep improving? HU books? Videomaterial? If anybody has some kind of schedule, I would really like to hear how you do it.

Also, what is a good result (cEV/t) to know if you're a winning player at 3's/7's?

Thank you.

Is HRC or ICMizer better for studying spins?

Also is there a chipev/tourney filter in HM2 or we just have to calculate it manually?

Thanks.
