So this is from the 530 wcoop,we're ITM fwiw. We haven't been playing for much,it's still around the end of the first level(15min levels).

Stuff that happened:villain has been 3betting ~20% and has 5 bet me once.Seen 2 flops that i c/f.

Poker Stars, $500 + $30 NL Hold'em Tournament, 25/50 Blinds, 2 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

Hero (BTN): 6,336
BB: 8,664

Pre-Flop: (75) A 4 dealt to Hero (BTN)
Hero raises to 145, BB raises to 425, Hero calls 280

Flop: (850) 6 6 J (2 Players)
BB bets 395, Hero calls 395

Turn: (1,640) K (2 Players)
BB bets 925, Hero calls 925

River: (3,490) A (2 Players)
BB bets 1,755 Hero calls 1,755

What do you think villain's range is in this spot on turn/river?Timing wasn't anything special.

river imo, villain's range should be boats/flushes/6x... or pure air.

thoughts on a 4bet to 1100 pre?

IMO:

At the flop he bets his entire 20% range obv

Turn I think he barrels any jack any king, any straight draw or gs and any diamonds but also probably almost all of his air range. Since it's such a good turn to barrel and get you off Ace high or medium pps since your equity is never super good when you've got those type of hands in this kinds of boards, plus there are a bunch. He probably checks back medium pps and ace highs without a gs. I think you should fold turn tbh, you're not ahead of his range here and your facing a river bet a pretty decent amount of the time if the guy is any good imo.

On the river I doubt he vbets J, still vbets all kings imo, likely he fires 3rd barrel with all the air that got to the river so he has a lot of bluffs plus you beat a part of his vbetting range = call!
But like I said, if the ace doesn't hit on the river you would be in terrible shape against his river 3rd barrel and he probably will fire it on any T,Q, diamond, Ace.

So in summary, I think calling turn in a vacuum is slightly bad but considering all possible rivers and actions it's pretty bad to call turn, I think you must call this river.

I wouldn't call the turn. 3-betting 20% of the time to me means he's probably not competely full of it, so the only hand that makes sense to me that you can beat on the turn is Q-10. Maybe if he has suited connectors, like 7-8s, and he's betting that because he has no showdown value, but I think that is pretty far-fetched.

turn is a fold vs most. As played, you have to snap river.

I was actually villain, just wanted some input of how my line looked w/o you being result oriented. I had a bluff ldo,him showing up with that really surprised me and thought the turn call was pretty bad.

Some thoughts on river sizing?Villain would def see me polar if i shoved imo.

turn call is questionable to say the least

hero in the hand, yeah, hero, is showing strength by calling two barrels as well as hero, err, villain, by continually firing. but hero, err, villain, isn't showing that much strength in the bet sizing either. I'd rather see a bigger turn bet and a shove if you are really going after this pot. That would get me to fold the Ace on the river if I was calling you down with that hand for some reason (read u don't know about?)

You don't HAVE to do anything! If villain shoved, you would probably not be good here. You CAN call turn with intention of calling MOST rivers, but definitely not the Ad against a shove, puke.

As far as river sizing I like to bet a little more over hp but shoving is really unnecessary. I think like 300~ chips more on the river you almost always fold his bluffcatchers. So yeah, nh, wp villain sucks, etc.

EDIT: ^ Rather call on the Ad than 5d, Ad is one of the best rivers for hero's hand and is pretty much the nut bluff card for villain.

He will bluff enough and may value bet worse imo. Folding would be a mistake vs most.

regardless to the hand in question, my point was against the line of thinking that if we call this then we have to call that

Zawa, I was thinking more like 2/3 on turn and 4/5 on river. Sorry, stacksizes being what they are for WCOOP

Yes, there are some rare situations where you hit your gin card and should fold, never claimed otherwise.
