On the flop i was planning to bet/call a shove cause of possible straight/flushdraws and 5x 4x in addition to 10x but the minraise made me rule out his 5x and 4x, so seemed better to just call and bluffcatch.

On the river i figured a fishy player could be betting his 8x with this small sizing aswell and maybe a few more stupid stuff. Or is it actually even fine to bet 8x here on river with this action in his shoes?

usually this line is for value from the opp.on the other side the prize is too juicy for a call.but all in all i believe we behind most of the times.
