It does say cash a few times in the article and the details look cash oriented, but nothing stated seems to say it'll only apply to cash games. I'll try to get some verification soon, maybe people want to email Stars though and have the question escalated to someone in Software to give a good answer for March 1st.

I'd imagine anyone with approved seating scripts for SNGs would've received a Stars email already though if this does cover SNGs.

A better question might be if this will prevent current SNG scripts from working effectively. A few outtakes:

The wording on those does seem to target cash games. Ultimately, whatever Stars wants to do wrt SNG scripts will be up to them, even if the technical details above don't cover them perfectly, if they want something banned they will quickly adjust, based on historical precedence.

Haha. Unless they've recently hired some of the "retired" officials from our current American administration, there is zero chance of that.

No. And even if sharky is fully banned in the future, the answer will still probably be no.

Regarding sharky it's allowed to sit open lobby "make a waitlist" however the color coding has to be deleted from software.

i understand it that you can still make a waitlist for sitting first but have to manually sit second. is that correct?

Given past criticisms when mistakes were made, it's only fair to give props to Marko for providing what looks like a very reasonable refund policy on these short notice changes.

This is sharky's attempt to stay in line with the new PS policy, yes. Is it acceptable under new PS rules? Hopefully.

Yes, to the best of my knowledge right now PS has been notified about sharky + the changes and are determining whether or not the program will remain legal under the new rules. Until PS gives some sort of official reply, you're probably better off not trying to use it.

This is what i see when i open pokerstars' site, does it mean that even after it's modifications and removal of features it is banned? Seems the new rules, including scripts, charts etc start applying from today, 04.03.2019. But when i checked the husngs seems like just business as usual for the cartels

I don't think they were made aware of the new updates, but for now it certainly seems like you should avoid using Sharkystrator. If that changes I'm sure someone (or myself, if nobody else does) will post about it here.

This is correct. Longer-term it's a bit unclear what will happen, but I don't think the status quo will change too much especially for 60s+

Regs can and will maintain lobby control of mid/high stakes basically all the time even without sharky. Recs will not get many opportunities to play other recs for decent stakes even if sharky is totally banned for good. This is something that I've tried to explain to people for a long time, but the cartel systems "feel" unfair (despite actually being very fair) so most people haven't really understood that point, I think.

It looks like Pokerstars started to block Sharkystrator. A quote from email from Pokerstars:

You can't autosit anyone based on tags/note colors anymore. Now the program only has 2 options -- sit open lobby and sit everyone. But the big thing that sharky does for husngs is have the waitlist for open lobbies, and this feature has been allowed to stay.

It's been officially whitelisted by PS and doesn't trigger a warning in-client anymore. Perhaps the page just isn't updated?

What's going on with Sharky and viruses? It was automatically uninstalled from my computer, and after downloading it again, Avast didn't let me install it because of Malware. So I decided to check it with other antiviruses and here is the outcome:
