Ultimately bubbled. I have folded AK in this position before and often wondered am I doing the right thing.
The push is heavily +EV on ICMIMZER, however villain's call is also +EV, I would likely have shoved 55's but as played fold against a shove. ICMIZER acknowledges there is a 15% chance of going bust with the AK shove. Is that 15% too much with smaller stacks on bubble? There is obviously profit to be gained from finishing on a larger stack in this format.

Keen to hear opinion on maybe just calling or folding here.

For this unfamiliar with payout structure, top 4 get buy in back plus like a dollar per 100 chips or something.

I can't imagine the value of folding to preserve your stack is that high here, it's not like a MTT bubble.

I think you're being too results oriented on the hand that villain showed up with. The value in AK in AIPF situations isn't vs lower pairs, it's vs stuff like AQ, AJ, AT, KQ, KJ. At these stack sizes, I cannot imagine doing anything other than jamming AK here personally. Curious if there are other opinions though.

*I don't play this format/don't have extensive studying/history in it.
