PokerStars, €23.25 + €1.75 - Hold'em No Limit - 20/40 - 2 players
Hand delivered by Upswing Poker

SB (Hero): 390 (10 bb)
BB: 1,110 (28 bb)

Pre-Flop: (60) Hero is SB with 3 K
Hero calls 20, BB checks

Flop: (80) 5 2 4 (2 players)
BB bets 40, Hero calls 40

Turn: (160) J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: (160) A (2 players)
BB bets 40, Hero raises to 310 (all-in), BB folds

My line seems fine to me, but accordin to the solver we could also just call 23% of times. How come?

This looks like a weak hand, so I'd raise a lot smaller. Maybe even just a clickback.

The line you took might work fine as a bluff with pretty much whole range, because I don't expect people to take this line with str8/flush very often.

Also, I'd consider betting the turn small and jam a lot of rivers to put the max pressure on his range.

In theory, idk how GTO plays this hand in villain's shoes, but I think, that he might still have even some better str8's/flushes.

I would recommend focusing on refining your strategy more in the most common situations - preflop, cbets, small iso pots, flop x/r, turn barrels, turn probes. The common spots impact your EV far, far more than these weird/rare river spots.
