tell me if i think this right


1. vs calling stations (misplay a-high , bottom pairs etc )

do you bet 2-3 streets with second pairs or even third pairs etc? checkback all your air IP?


2. vs nits (dont bluff ever)

never bluffcatch i guess unless you have top pair or good second pair? do you barrel them more or not?


3. vs aggros

literally i dont know how to play against them , i guess i should bluffcatch more but its hard to tell how much to call. any ideas? also there are two versions of them , those who barrel alot and those who cbet alot , how do you find who is who fast?


4. vs players who mini 3-bet to get the initiative

this is another very troublesome player ,i call them because i have the odds but then i just dont know how to play the flop , i think i burn money against this move.


Please give me your insight and tell me how do you exploit these villains , , hu is not my main game and i try to understand the ranges and strengths against each player type.

Also what other mistakes bad players tend to do and you exploit them? can you say some?

initiative is not a thing that does anything

whats the difference between having initiative preflop and cbetting after min 3betting and flatting preflop and leading most flops

both are annoying but i think i have found a way to deal with it , i need to understand hand strengths better , sometimes there are people capable to stack off very bad hands and im not getting advantage of it , also i dont understand how you spot fishes fast hu , in a fr game when you see a limper or a high vpip you know you have found one but how do you realize this hu?

I'd be interested to know the regs answers to these as well. I have my own default strategies for these players which work ok for me but I'm not that great of a player so don't want to give you bad advice.

bet for value, and slow it down if raised, since he probably has something better than the usual crap, depending on how station-y he is, you can bet even low pair if he isnt folding his a or k high

2. vs nits (dont bluff ever)

bet pretty much any 2 until he starts to play back at you

3. vs aggros

kinda hard since it depends on how/where he is aggroing stuff up, but unless he is shoving every hand, never shut down and wait for the big hand, you have to play against him, so 3bets and raises are gonna be a huge part of that game, and dont stress it too much and take any +ev line you can get

4. vs players who mini 3-bet to get the initiative

dont know exactly what you mean by this? if they do that they are oop otf/t/r, maybe 4bet pre every now and then?
