he doesnt have Ax that much in his range after calling 3bt, and nothing else u beat is calling since u rep Ax well the way u played

my guess is u were scary jamming which baaaad
go for value ~220 i guess (depends weather u think he'll call wide/ or jam over wide)

cannot see an opponent against whom openshoving is better than b/c small.

Given the preflop sizing, you might wanna set up the stacks for turn shove. Keep in mind also that you often have the best here more often than not. Bet 200-240 ish and call a shove, or jam most turns if he just calls.

Never folding here, i like betting about 1/4 effective stacks to induce a shove from worse, you wont get a whole lot of credit on this board.

is correct. bet like 200 so if villain does end up flatting we can profitably jam any turn.

If I somehow have a pair of 2'2s here I call it of and call any pair if I'm villain.

The reason is so simple when someone has A,K..it's so very easy to put them on when played like this and the play you did here is so typical of a A,K repping player. They massively overplay it and even if they miss so bad (granted someones calling range here isn't a 2, but T,9 is in there in some cases even 8,9 etc..any part he might well of "flatted" here has you beat.

The amount of times I see this is unreal, people seem to think A,K is a hand, regardless of flop/turn etc and are willing to stack it nearly every time with ace high..never made any sense to me, there is nothing much more fun than playing someone with A,K and hearing their "whine" of how you called of a massive over bet with with pocket 5'5s yet they fail to see how transparent their play is.

If I'm villian, I'm never, ever thinking you hold a monster here and A,J+ is very likely and I've seen the same sort of play with A,10+,K,J+ etc when there is no over cards they are happy getting their chips in.

Any over pair or even under pair if I'm hero is betting for value here and not shoving for value so yeah villian hopefully called off his pair of 3'3s or even a 9 here (he should be doing).

You can get value out of your ace high with top kicker here if you bet 250 in the pot and call off a shove based on his calling range but I think the way you played this is so transparent that shoving isn't good here in my opinion.
