Q: How often is this a bluff? Q: How often is this a bluff?

My usual disclaimer, it might be an easy question for you guys so be easy with the flaming...

Stakes are $10+0.5
He has been raising more or less every hand, and it is my third 3-bet, not many hands have gone to showdown

IPoker Network No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t30.00/t60.00 Blinds - 2 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BTN/SB: t1240.00 20.67 BBs
Hero (BB): t1760.00 29.33 BBs

Pre Flop: (t90) Hero is BB with J Q
BTN/SB raises to t120, Hero calls t60

Flop: (t240) 3 J 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB bets t120.00, Hero calls t120

Turn: (t480) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB checks

River: (t480) 4 (2 players)
Hero bets t200.00, BTN/SB raises to t1000, Hero ?

A few question here:
1. Was the value/blocking bet on river ok or would you check?
2. Since none of the draws hit, he checked the turn and the blind levels are this high it should be an easy call?
3. What would make you fold this hand at river?

What stakes? And more important: what are your reads so far? Blinds are 30/60 so you should have some...

1. Just check. donking could be best, it could induce a bluff, but overall checking is better readless.
2. The blind levels have nothing to do w/ your decision, but I would not be lead/folding w/ this hand, so yea, easy call.
3. If I knew he did not bluff enough in these spots, I would fold, but if I knew that then I would not be leading here.

i dont see any 3bet. besides that, getting it in on the flop is 100% standard, you said he is raising most hands, think about how often you have the best hand here. the only question is wether you go for a c/r or a lead and on this board c/r is better against most opponents.

1- how can a bet be value and block at the same time?
2- those are no reasons to call.
3-We are ONLY beating bluffs

I think its a pretty good spot to bluff in his eyes, you have no 4x in your range because A4 prob ships pre vs someone raising a decent percent, have a ton of missed draws, and if you are considering folding the very top of your range here.. I like bluff shoving here.

I don't mind betting river to get some crying calls from ace high or 9x.. but i make it way bigger or even ship river if villan is a bad reg who levels himself. It would greatly depend how ive played draws vs him earlier in the match.. if I was playing draws passively on the flop I would be more inclined to bet river as we have more air in our range.
