i also agree with you Ry,for the most part. im not saying i condone it or agree with it, but its just as ridiculous to take it seriously imo, are you REALLY getting you life threatened? no.is it childish and immature, yeah of course. but the quote above sums it up well. take it with a grain of salt and move on, its pretty immature IMO to feel threatened or angry at someone behind a computer screen spouting off about this or that. just hit rematch and continue profiting while they swear up & down you suck and your mom will contract aids, and your dog will be hit multiple times by a john deer tractor. if any of these things do happen, i am almost certain is not because a millionaire said they should over the internet

if someone on ftp tells me they're gonna shoot me or w/e i obv dont take those threats very seriously. as in i dont think they'll actually come kill me. but its hard to not pass some judgment on those who are too dense/immature to control themselves when they have access to an online identity that doesnt let people hold them accountable for their actions and words as would happen in the real world.

noobs get laughed off these forums on a daily basis for behaving like livb - only they haven't played enough games/hands to know better or made a million dollars like livb.

agreed. the Hero card is annoying to bear at tiems, and i see your point fully. i personally dont care if someone claims to be tea bagging my mom, while i hit my miracle card, im not a fan of them doing this, but im focused on trying to win some cash.
but it is infinitely easier to respect and assign "hero" status to the people you stated, and its well deserved .

sup livb good to see ur still at it, here's my questions for you:

1-Do you ever feel guilty or empty for being so uniquely intelligent, yet spending all of your energy on a game that disallows you to truly benefit the human race? This has been a real problem for me personally, and part of the reason I've always treated poker like a hobby and not a job....i mean a guy as smart as you could solve cancer, aids, or even create the next computing enviroment or green tech boom that could change the world....instead you toil away for $$$ only at a game that while being intellectual, really isnt at all innovative.

2-I know you've made like 1.5 million or w/e over the past 4-5 years and probably havent socked away more than a few hundred thousand. do you realize that this really isnt that much money given your lifestyle and cost of living? I mean I have also made about this much money and im not even the best in my field....yet you are the best in your field...thoughts?

3-Do you feel that the number of years that you can earn at this rate are coming to an end or do you feel that you can persist at this for another decade at this win rate?

well sure i mean livb please don't associate my response to your history and what i think of u dictate any decisions on whether to post here or not. im sure there's a good deal of ppl on here who would vouch for my character (given what they kno of me, which is just online stuff anyways i guess) and a ton of others could care less about me but they'd all agree that i dont participate that often. i'd really regret if they felt that my post "scared" u away bc im sure they'd like u to be around these boards.

That's just the nature of making the most money in a game like this.

When I started playing in 2007, people were all over Genius, then he stopped playing husngs and it kind of died down. Livb and skilled get worshipped a ton, it just goes with the success they've had at the game.

Phil Helmuth strikes me as an idiot and somebody that would probably make me kill myself if I had to live with, but he's worshiped by multiples more than Genius, Livb and Skilled combined and probably a much crappier person than any of them.

The thing about Camel's comments, to me, is that often times the more successful people are the bigger their egos are, the more they feel they are superior to others and that in turn ends up making them worse people quite often, not better. I think Camel is seeing it as "you have more so you should be more humble, you have less to be a dick about" but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work that way all the time.

Also the most controversial and biggest mouths get the attention. I'm sure there are quite a lot of stand up guys that don't say much. There certainly are in the high stakes husng community.

I'm heybude on Stars, just wanted to drop in and say even though I talk trash on you I have tons of respect for your game and really am not in a position to comment on how good or bad you are since your results against me speak for themselves.

My question is how hard a path was it to 1 table for 6-8 hours a day? Does it ever get boring? How do you keep yourself interested?

i was asking him that question before, he said that he only exclusivly 1 tlbs
