ninjah poker updates plz

Some parts are very recognisable, unfortunately i guess.

It def seemed like it was written to me. For the last two years I've made some $ playing but not enough to quit working, well according to my wife at least. The worst part is that not to stereotype but I'm about to is that most at least decent poker players are of above average intelligence people who don't feel like working too hard. Thus I will probably not put in the work to feel in my leaks even though I know you are right. I do however play for a living now which is y I should work harder at it. I think that a key thing to playing as a job is that you don't have to and even shouldnt play 50 hours a week but you should prob instead be playing half that and reviewing hh and trying to improve your game the other half. Anyway very good post. Ty for taking the time to write. I suck (sometimes)

Wow, that is a awesome post. I can relate to so much, in fact, I've had a downswing here lately and I've recognized that I'm not playing my A-game and I've subscribed to husng.com to help with that. How do you "work on your B and C-games?" Can you prevent yourself from having these types of times?

It took me a long time to realize most of what you said, and my game took off when I finally discovered the confidence that you talk about (and pretty much took tilt out of the eqation). The greatest thing I learn about poker is that if you do it for the money you will never make any. If you play poker to acheive zen and learn to control yourself and your emotions, then you will be truly great.

Wow, awesome post sir. Thank you for taking the time out to do this. I just ended a streak of over a dozen months with at least a four figure profit and am just so sick. It's been a couple months since my streak ended and I am so determined to get back to the top. I suck at poker, but I will study as much as I can to be back to where I was.

I am not OP but I know how to partially answer your question. have you heard of Tommy Angelo ? He might help you a lot on this aspect. You should by his book or watch his video series at DC.

A lot of stuff is involved for example: let's say that in your A-game you score +2ptbb at the games you play but when you tilt you score -3ptbb. Why ? because you play lots of garbage and play ridiculously. So what might help you increase your C-game ? Be nit, for example. When you realize you are on tilt you just play premium hands until you are back to your A-game again.

If a nitty play breakseven then you just saved 3ptbb/hour

That's just an example which I leaned from watching TA series/reading his book. There is no precise answer but I hope you can get the idea

No, you can't prevent B and C game. Some players can choose not to play when it's likely that they will be playing B and C games, but not everyone will have that luxury (I.E playing for a living, in a tourney, playing stakes where games don't always run).

Training B and C game is about training your 'tilt', it's about looking at what causes you to play a certain way when you are tired, not focused or completely frustrated and remapping your brain in those situations.
