Hi guys, i am playing micros u to nl10. I have a question what is the easyer way to get like 250$ per month playing Spin n Gos or cash? I know that variance in spins is huge, and also i got some material video packs for learning spins.

$250/mo is very attainable in most popular forms of poker, whether it be spins, many cash game variants, MTTs or HUSNGs.

I'd look at which game you enjoy playing the most, for many people it's better to do what you find most fun, it is easier to grind out the hours if necessary.

From there, post a lot of hands/questions on the forums, read the answers, and play a lot within your bankroll.

Coaching/videos/etc. can come after that, build a foundation of 20-30 hours a week of dedicated time and just keep trying to put in tilt-free hours at the tables.

To get 250$ month, Id play 7$ hyper hu, with some work it shouldnt be hard to get 3% ev roi there and thats just 1200 games month, you can do it at spins for sure but variance in hu is way smaller than in spins.

And how´s that working out for ya? If we take into account rakeback on most sites you can get a rakeback deals that pays you at least 25% so assuming...

* 4 tables
* 6 hours a day of grind
* 20 days a month (around 36k hands a month)
* 5.0bb/100 winrate (pretty doable at NL10)

That would give us like $180 pre rakeback + another $90 on rakeback at 25% for a grand total of $270 month.
As for Spin&go lets begin at the $3 level. So also assuming...

* 5% evROI (Thats around 70 chipEV pretty doable at $3s even at $7s)
* 2 Tables
* 6 hours per session
* 20 days a month (that give us around 1,680 spins per month)

That would give us around $252 pre rakeback.

I don´t know about you or your preferences or what you enjoy playing the most but i will give Spin&Go the edge here...Cheers.

you forgot about the standard deviation difference of >400 for spins and around 100 for cash, making it so that half the time even if you make money in EV you will not actually win anything

if your only goal is to make 250/mo for some time just grind cash on a site that has good rakeback, if you want to do anything long-term, pick a different format

A pack, friend, coach, etc. won't make everyone automatically beat a level.

That said, the pack is very relevant to those stakes and should help you a good deal at that level.
