Hi all!

It's been a long time for me oustide of the tables. I've seen that new preflop styles (and, more importantly, the GTO solution) in heads-up sit&go often include limping a good chunk of our range.

I have no issue with moving away from my previous min-raise/fold strategy, however, I often find myself without any weapons to fight post-flop in these type of flops.

In old-school raised flops we had our c-bets, our double barrel and so on, but what are the main guidelines for playing post-flop after the hand started with a limp and a check behind? What textures are suitable for a bet IP/OOP? What are the best bet-sizes?

I am also interested in some ideas about c-betting after a preflop ROL is someone has an idea...

Thank you very much!

These are obviously pretty complex questions, but there's no reason we can't cbet a decent frequency on a wide variety of boards, especially if we're exploiting rec population which tends to be too passive and overfoldy in some spots. Keep in mind that while our limping range will be somewhat more capped than our raising range, villain still won't have hands like pps, a lot of Ax, good Kx, and so on because those will still be isoing pre. In general we should be checking back a bit more than in minraised pots, but we can still find plenty of profitable cbet spots and barreling opportunities.

Betsizes, ranges, and leading are all super board-dependent (and, in an explo sense, villain and specific-runout dependent), and I doubt you'll be able to get a detailed discussion on those things going here, but would be interesting if anyone did chime in on these topics. Unfortunately, almost all of the good content I've seen on these topics in recent years is either paid or behind a stable wall somewhere.

Thank you for your very quick reply! Of course this is a very complex subject that depends on many factors, but it's good to know that c-betting a decent amount of spots is a sound strategy.

Is there any material, free or otherwise, that you would suggest me to get my hands on?
