Villian – very loose, somewhat aggressive, very tricky but not necessarily in a smart way – just likes to play hands weirdly and bet a lot without a lot of thought behind it. Very tough to get off any kind of hand (on AJ59 board he led out with J4, called my raise, then called a big turn bet).

The Hand: I’m in BB with KTo. Villian raises from 500 to 2000, which is the first time he’s raised 4xBB since we’ve been heads up. Had mostly been min raising and limping. I call. Flop is 873 all diamonds. I have the ten of diamonds. I check, villain bets 3200 into the 4000 pot, with 21-22k behind. What should I do? If you call, the turn is another 3 ...

Be patient. I would fold that KT and wait for a better situation to stack him off, you could be way behind if he did get a piece of that board, and you also have bad reverse implied odds, that is if you hit your diamond you'll be tempted to play for stacks, when he could be jamming any Jd+. Don't waste your stack trying to barrel him off his holdings or pull big bluffs, you'll only end up frustrated when he calls you down with mid pair or something. Instead, bet for thin value, 3b more with good holdings, and don't be afraid to call him down with a good hand, even if he spazzes out.

+1

Easy Fold imo & wait for better spot. This is neither a good spot to call or to start bluffing if villain likes to spazz and spew around. Play more hands otb (although this call pre was absolutely ok) so you have more control over the action and potsize.

since 4x is stronger then usuall u could easily be dominated. You wouldnt know what to do if u hit your dimond, or even Kx. And that big cbet looks almost to be value. Although i dont think he would bet that big with a good flushdraw himself theres not much you can do. you dont have to win every pott, just do the best decision with every hand.
