Optimal 3-bet/4-bet/5-bet Strategies Optimal 3-bet/4-bet/5-bet Strategies

Hi!

I've read an article about optimal 3-bet... strategies but I just simply can't transform it to my hyper hu sng games. I'm missing something or I'm not good enough in logic and mathematics, dont know. So please if you understand could you explain me and make an example?
The original article is about Bob and Alice where Alice opens some range and Bob 3bets him. Everybody can read the article, google it.

So my model is:
Alice opens some range (to 40, 1.5bb), Bob 3bets him (to 90, 3.5bb), Alice 4bet All-in or fold, Bob call or fold.
My problem is that I cant implement the same formulas because in the article there is a 5 bet as well.
Both player have 500 chips, blinds are 10/20.
Lets say opening range is 60%

This article is about Game Theory Optimal ranges 100bb deep for cash games. It's about 2 opponents playing unexploitably against each other.

Whilst it is theoretically interesting, it isn't massively applicable to shorter stacked HU games, where we are looking to exploit our opponents rather than playing unexploitably.

I know that we want to exploit our opponents but as the article states if you know gto you can notice more weaknesses as deviation from optimal play.

I don't play hypers but don't imagine there's much 4 betting let alone 5 betting.

People aren't playing gto so rather than starting from there and adjusting the starting point is population tendencies.

The other articles in the same series about postflop play are also interesting.

do you mean this article? http://en.donkr.com/Articles/optimal...x---part-1-750

generally, thinking like that is only good as a theory exercise. in real life you're going to have people flatting raises, 3bets, even 4betting non allin and flatting those, and playing postflop. this skews the results a ton; any range you get assuming that nobody plays postflop is going to be far from gto, and likely also exploitable by your typical midstakes reg
