Is there any good video content out there for getting good at Spin and Go's? Also does anyone think 8% roi is a doable goal for the $10 Spins on PokerStars Ontario? I have a lot of HUSNG experience but not really any Spin and Go experience.

Hey guys, whats good chg to move from 5E spins on winamax to 10E? i have been playing pretty regular previously on 25e but had year break dont really know what to expect with new structure tbh im thinking of playing 2-3k before moving to 10e

I think 60+ is still achievable at the €5

As you say the structured has changed and the format is a lot faster, so tbf, even if you decided to play 2000 games before you move up to the 10 euro to be super comfortable this is not a bad idea, nor is it time consuming

No offence to bas but your public disco is unfortunately basically dead when it comes to strat talk. Don't know if it's a spins thing that players don't want to talk about strat in public forums etc because the egdes are pretty small in the end.

The community is there but whether or not players choose to provide the input needed to receive an output is another thing. Those players who do post, they receive guidance, advice and answers to their questions. However, we cannot control how much input players want to achieve in order to work on there games etc. Always going to be a difficult one.

Not to mention we provide Free HUD, Free Charts, YT and twitch content etc, so even those who do not wish to post/discuss publically have a benefit i suppose.

Few years ago there was a kind of coaching group op poker that had pretty active discord. It just dropped dead because the people running it didn't make any money from it and called it quits I think. Other than that all the talk is happening pretty much behind closed doors. Your free content is nice though. For sure you can beat the smallest stakes in the beginning with that.

Quick question, how do you mentally cope with the variance. chip EV says i'm playing well, keep getting all in like this (3 handed everyone below 10 bb) and the run out just sucks. I am getting hit with coolers like qq vs AA and I get that. Right now about a 50 buy in downslide.

Experience and familiarity with the numbers. Spins without ev pool will have 100+bi swings for everyone. There's a great free program called Swongsim you can use to get a realistic handle on spin variance.

a question for people who play flash profitably under the 65% rakeback on stars. the first week when starting out is gonna have less rakeback right? so do you just accept a loss the first week?

cause lets say i want to play 10k games this week, and only profitable under a 65% rakeback, but the first week the weekly challange will be much less due to not having played all that volume the previous week. so its not profitable first week?

I play regular spins on pokerstars from Sweden with zero rakeback and I've made a reasonable profit and don't really feel like I'm getting eaten up by the rake, in fact I'm confident I will become rich in the long run...

Well, I've decided to make a comeback to the world of Spins after grinding cash games for a while. I'm back to playing $10 spins and things have been going quite well - just under 80 Cev over the first 154 tournaments. Better still, for the first time I've had some luck. While historically I have run well below EV in cash games, Spins and tournaments, I've run substantially over EV during this span. It is nice for once to run well both in EV and chips won!

Historically I have run about 58 Cev in $10 spins over ~ 3500 tournaments. I would consider moving up in stakes at this point but here the games go $1, $5, $10, $50...and I don't want to devote a bankroll to playing $50 games., plus $10 to $50 is a significant jump! In addition, it can often be tough to get a $10 game here so I'm sure the $50 games run very infrequently.

All in all I'm having a good time playing Spins
