Yeah but I really like watching 1$ players play for 1000 buy ins and if you throw a deal button on them, 3/4 of those 1200x games are going to end in a 3 way chop. Besides, if your opponents are scared you have an edge anyways.

I saw a $1800 15 spin last night where all 3 players insta asked for a deal. That's super lame and kind of defeats the whole purpose of these games.

Does someone have more infos what the little stars symbol in the winner tab means?
It stands for "the ranking position of the player in the current season"

What season and why has everyone the same icon? Is it possible that they will add some sort of leaderboard for the jackpots?

Has anyone played enough to say what average duration of these things is around?

full tilt is about 7-8 mins but I have the feeling that stars is dealing faster so problably more like 7 mins on stars

Does the Full Tilt Jackpot Sit&Go have the same blind levels/time as Fullt Tilt 6-max hypers? I was estimating (from blind structure) that the Spin&Go would be closer to the 10-minute ballpark.

500 chips = 1 BI. 40000 chips expected won = 80 BIs. 80/726~0.11=11% is what the ROI would be if there was no rake. With the rake, you invest 0.96+0.04 BI to get back 0.96*(1+0.11)=1.0656~1.066, so 1.066-1=0.066=6.6% is the expected pre-rewards ROI. Adding Black Card rewards 35%*0.04=0.014=1.4%, we have 8% expected post-reward ROI. WP!

1) You don't have to deal if you don't want to, it would be your right but not obligation.
2) Interests of rake-payers have priority over interests of those who watch for free.
3) Still, catering to railbirds is still vital to the economy, so I suggest to impose a moderate minimum amount that has to be left in play after any deal, like in WCOOP events, e.g. 100 BIs in a game with a 1200 BI prize pool.

thought Stars has exactly the same structure but as it looks like Stars dont have the 25/50 blind level and instead when direct to the 30/60 one (level 4). So in fact Stars should be a little bit faster (7-8 min is the avg. duration as it can be found in the Full Tilt Lobby and which should be pretty accurate when I look into my database)

Thanks. Is FTP also a 500 chip starting stack or 300 chip?

Yeah you should see the chat in some of these 1200x games. People love watching these and it's absurd if the players can just end them right away. I think I would be ok with the players playing for like a 65/35 split of the 1100 bi's in the top 2, but 3 way chops would destroy these games. Something like 90% of the high rolls would end in chops and that would be kind of ridiculous. Besides, if you could chop these games they would literally be gambling. You would be throwing your dollars in until you get a high roll and then chop the high roll without playing poker.

No chops imo, but I could live with top heavy chops that are a bit less extreme than the 82/9/9 structure. It would be tough to implement those in a way that allows players to make the deal quickly enough during the hyper format though. You would need a pause button I guess.

How many games (minimum) we need to play in order to estimate our true ROI/hourly with these?

I don't know the maths of quantifying winrates in these with acceptable certainty. But I can certainly say that there are a lot of fun players in these games at the moment, and they are rather beatable.

What bankroll do you think it's necessary for 15$?
How about 30s?

That's super lame in your eyes (and from a spectator point of view I agree with you) but seems like the sensible thing to do. Playing out a 1 in 20 000 jackpot SNG with 2nd and 3d paying only 10% is just crazy variance, as if it wasn't high enough already. The whole concept of these is to gamble anyway.

Requested a selfban for Spin & Go's only. Can't stop playing them, but I find myself spewing like crazy when the prize pool is x2 bi's.

5 tourneys on 7s have reached the $8400 prize pool already and stars are advertising it in the lobbies... What a way to bring people in.

E: 6 tourneys now

These things are terrible. Waiting to see the slot machine roll and watch how $36 000 becomes $60 every time makes this highly addictive.

loads, way more than normal hyper SNG

if you run bad in these in those few games where the prize pool is bumped up then you'll be on a huge downer no matter how well you do in the 2x prize pool games
