EV is the same. Someone said varriance is 10% lower not sure about how accurate is that. But you play 3x more than 50% of the time

Thanks guys, hope that's true. Could always use less variance.

One of the reasons Spins were so frustrating was the vast majority of players ran significantly under expectation and a handful of lucky few were thousands of buy-ins above. Now I can get back to being frustrated by normal poker things instead of multiplier distribution.

variance looked very similar in swongsim iirc, change is pretty small

Someone please explain to me why everyone seems to agree that variance in Spins is astronomically high when HUSNGs have the lowest variance of any poker format.

Is it solely because, for most people, a good ROI requires the "lottery" to come in?

I'm trying to decide if 1,000 games at a 42.22% winrate and a 22% ROI is enough to move up in stakes. I already solved the binomial distribution that tells me I'm like 99.99999% likely to have a two-digit ROI with these results, but when everybody's saying "you need millions of games to get a true winrate and under 10k is not a sample at all," I feel like either I'm missing something or they are.

I just don't want my graph to end up looking like this https://i.imgur.com/YDYZtoV.png

You download swongsim.
Check the old structure variance
Open another instance.
Type in new structure.
Compare.
Voila.
Wasnt that hard, was it?

Not hard, but not easier than asking the question in this thread.

Hello guys!

The 3x and 5x games were introduced on the .es version of Pokerstars very recently as well and that got me thinking about the prize distribution in Spins. Wouldn't it be great if they would be more MTT-like? If everyone enjoys playing less 4x and 6x and more 3x and 5x because probably they feel that the variance is lower, they get more of the bigger multipliers more often etc., I bet people would enjoy having those massive prizes ditched for smaller big multipliers, but having them a lot more often. How amazing it would be if it would be something like 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x/9x, 12x-15x, 15x-20x, 27x, 37x, 55x, 88x, 110x, 150x, 200x, 275x, 350x, 500x.

Have you every thought about this? It's probably a long shot, but if we could come up with a cool prize distribution and submit it to Pokerstars en masse for consideration. I bet most of the players would enjoy it.

Nooooo

My brothers also fishes, they also wait for jp
Our cousin is recreational, he also waits

Instead of waiting for a JP you'll never hit, wouldn't it be cool to tell your brothers and cousin that you just hit a 88x and it turns out your cousin hit a 37x yesterday. (as an example) [obv you wouldn't hit them every day, but instead of waiting for all your life to hit a miracle jackpot, you could actually hit something decent within a reasonable sample]

We actually dont care if it's a 7X or 37X, we just care about our cev over decent sample. And jp ofc.
Our cousin also cares about certain winrates and frequencies but we dont find it interesting since tbh we dont understand it
I cant understand why you say that we will not hit jp, other players did hit, so we will as well. We know that we need to be patient enough and pray every day and we will hit jp

Well, with a better multiplier distribution there would be less variance, there's that. You could run closer to your ev.

But praying for a jackpot is also a decent option!

As i said, we dont care that much about other multis
We have just one rule in our family - no solvers! We were very angry when we found out that our cousin used those things, esp because he was nodelocking that much. But he stopped and we're good again
And yes, we pray every day. To hit jp and to not fall into traps like some guys here did (fe lawboyy, freeq7z etc)
But i will not bother you anymore about our strategy
Have a nice day and gl at tables

Same question....I don't know much about spin and go. I just played a couple of spin 4 years ago and no one knew much about it at the time.

Does anyone else here honestly suspect ignition spins to be rigged?

I've never seen so many players at 60s not even adhering to GTO push/fold and somehow winning every single spin. Have about 8k played.

My CEV fluctuates high 40s/low 50s over large parts of my sample and the amount im under EV is simply astonishing, CEV over sample is 47.

That's kind of the issue with blind games/anonymous names and why I think the community should be opposed to win loss stat blocking as well. There is just such a lack of transparency.

But I think it's unlikely they are rigged or that there are superuser type accounts over there. They've done a good volume of business for decades now and it would be really against their interest to cheat in $60s spins (there are even less detectable and more effective ways to go about that if that is their goal, and the bar for it being their goal should be very high bc of the type of huge sports, casino and poker business they've done for a long time).

Hello,

One question i have and it comes to $EV deals. How EV+ are they for the players?

Like they give you a good formation which will make you to climb stakes faster and you dont have to care about variance.

Am i old or what im missing (hidden taxes or fees?)? Which is the negative part? Are there tons of players under $EV deals like this?

You are probably missing that staked player have to pay a substantial % of their winnings to their staker.

Hi there,

I'm a player in the Twister Jackpot games on Ipoker. I mainly play the €10 stakes. For the longest time, the pay table for these was:
€10 TWISTER PROBABILITY
€ 10,000 1/20,000
€ 1,000 20/20,000
€ 100 100/20,000
€ 50 300/20,000
€ 40 3,000/20,000
€ 30 5,142/20,000
€ 20 11,437/20,000

I've noticed that the payouts for these games have changed. They've taken away the € 40, the € 100 and the € 1,000 prizes and they have now been replaced by €80 and €500 instead. I played a bunch of games the other night and I spun the 2x € 20 minimum game in 90% of my games which doesn't happen under the paytable above and so far I'm not really liking the changes that have been made. I've looked everywhere online to try to find the new paytable, probabilities or any information about the changes that have been made and I can't find anything anywhere regarding this.

I've talked to live chat, sent several emails to the Ipoker skin I play on as well as the Ipoker network and no one is getting back to me. Really starting to get frustrated. If anyone can give me a copy or link to the new paytables, probabilities or any info at all regarding this matter, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Bodog/Ignition/Bovada 60s are 100% run by bots, probably bodog bots.

I seriously remember when I used to lulz at rigtards, but I'm serious.

I've never seen so many 3outters in my life, and just now bot doesn't alter strat vs AFK 3rd player BvB over 2levels (plenty of time to notice) folding numerous times. I've never seen this on Stars unless someone was playing WAY too many tables, bodog caps you at 4.

I'm telling you, Iggy spins at 60s are either heavily botted or rigged as ****.

I was answering the: Which is the negative aspect? Question.

Well, the individual profitability depends on a lot of factors. But yes they can clearly be +EV for both parties if done right.

This is an oversimplication but basically:

If the split is 50/50, the player should recive coaching/study material/"Mentoring"/software/playing a higher stake than he would with his own money. If you get a nice mix of the mentioned bonuses the deal has a lot of potential.

This is a bit of an open-ended question. Are you asking which site is the best to play on? Depends on a lot of factors - where are you located? What stakes do you play? Do you want rakeback? etc
