that kinda sucks. because I lost 22$ in ev in a x2 15$ spin ( how the **** can we lose more than 1 buy in $ev in 1 spin ) and only won 20$ in ev in a x10 15$ spin where I was always ahead in AI and vilain crai with 0% on turn in HU 25bbd where my $ev should be at least 80$

In $EV, all spins have more weight than 2x (they are 3x, of course).

Multipliers not affecting it is the whole point! Would you rather your backers moved up your lucky friend who is terrible but hit a 1000x, and despite you playing real good and having strong $EV is considering to move you down because it's been 2k games since you've spinned more than a rare 6x? of course not!

It's easy to lose more than 1 buyin in $EV.

Consider with roughly 500 chip stacks, if you get KK in vs AA, you're losing about 400 of chip EV no matter the result of the hand.

If you hit a K and survive, you have 1000 chips that you can proceed to lose, but you only need lose 100 more to hit one buyin's worth of EV. Get KK vs AA again vs the other guy and lose - now you're down 800 chips in EV, or ~1.5 buyins - but still in the game, back where you started with a 500 chip stack, still able to win or lose more EV in this very same game.

It goes the other way too, you can win more than two buyins of EV so it all balances out. It's why people use it!

does your pt4 not import many spins too ?
after each session I'm missing tons of spins and have to request hh from stars then import it to pt4. Can't do this every session, that's a f*** pain in the ass

Thats a known issue for PokerStars from their last update they´re having troubles with hand histories from multipliers games specially in those 6x and higher it has nothing to do with PT4 in fact try to open the hand history window and u will see there isnt any hands been recorded by pokerstars hence PT4 doesnt haven anything to import.
I send them an email a few weeks back and didnt got any reply then i sent another with a more angry tone and this is what they replied...

I also have a problem with PT4 and prizepools, in many spins I have 27.2$ in amount won in 15$ spins because the prizepool is not correct.

You can manually edit the tournaments results by going to the Results tab and searching for those you want to edit and right click on it and select "Edit Tournament"

Are you saving both Hand Histories and Tournament Summaries within the pokerstars client, and then importing both into PT4? I suspect you're not importing the tournament summaries for one reason or another.

network wide disconnection on stars spins atm. I was 2 tabbing + regged for another 4 $100 spins and a "connecting..." tab appeared. I was able to finish the 2 tabs that were in play, but it seems that i was taxed for the other 4 tabs without any of them appearing on the screen; the "Registered" tab wasn't working and nothing popped up. Mailed support. Anybody wanna wager that I'll get a big fat cock in my mouth from stars instead of a refund ? **** disgraceful; was dc'd a few weeks ago because of their ****ed up server (everything else was working fine, lost about 6000chips bcos of it in spins (some in x6 x10 x4) and was refunded TWO ****ING BUYINS. How did spinlyzer calculate the chipev for hu and 3h seperately? I added a filter for Players dealt in hand in PT4 but the cev for 3h and 2h do not add up to my actual cev like they did in spinlyzer.

cEV per game filtered for 2h is probably being calculated by dividing only by the number of games where you made it to HU. To get it to add up, it should be divided by total games.


cEV per game

= (total EV chips) / (total games)

= (2h EV chips) / (total games) + (3h EV chips) / (total games)
