@teddybloat: how many months did it take you to go from $3.50 hypers to $60 spins while working full time?

It's not the equity from big multis, it's the equity from coaching over time. If contracts were shorter, people would nearly be done by the time they got to a decent level.

Has the rake at the 30s been 6% for long or is it a recent increase? I thought that it was 5% above the 15 level.

$0.25/$1/$3 is 8%
$7 is 7%
$15/$30 is 6%
$60/$10 is 5%

Here in Italy the rake for 100€ spins is 7%. What the ****?
How do I calculate what winrate/cEV do I have to attain in order to at least breakeven?

For a 4% rake you´ll need a 34.72% ITM to BE or 20.80 cEV
For a 5% rake you´ll need a 35.09% ITM to BE or 26.35 cEV
For a 6% rake you´ll need a 35.47% ITM to BE or 32.00 cEV
For a 7% rake you´ll need a 35.85% ITM to BE or 37.75 cEV
For a 8% rake you´ll need a 36.24% ITM to BE or 43.60 cEV

How do you calculate these?

Playing with the SwongSim Variance Calculator but there´s a equation around here and we can confirm these numbers, the equation goes...

EV ROI = ((((cEV+500)/1500)*((1-rake%)*buyin))-1)*100%

So lets take the $3 (8% Rake) Spin as an example, it would go $2.76+$0.24...

EV ROI = ((((43.60+500)/1500)*((1-0.08)*3))-1)*100%
EV ROI = (((0.3624)*(2.76))-1)*100%
EV ROI = (1.00-1)*100%
EV ROI = 0%

Look at my graph: https://gyazo.com/75a89a4c71344dc6e45798a59b7ee20d
$EV is 240, why?
Is this the right formula? -> buyin-fee (1.82€)* total nr of spins (2064)* ev roi(5.83%)= 219€ ??
Instead I get 240 which is the result of -> total buyin (2€)*total nr of spins(2064)*evroi(5.83%)=240€.

Can someone explain to me why rake is taken into account for $EV?

EDIT: Nvm, I figured it out.

Because your real $ expectation should be the expectation of your real net amount won and that should include rake.

What about rakeback, should that also be included? Probably easiest just to lower the rake # in the calculation in that case I suppose. 5% to 4% if you have 20% rb for example.

I personally dont like to include rakeback on results graphs cuz thats not a meassure of how good im playing just how much volume im putting out and that can vary over time if the site decides to change their VIP Rewards system. But yeah i agree with you that the easiets way is to reduce it from the rake paid.

Up for some lower variance, anyone?

I didn't read the whole blog post (dated yesterday), so maybe it is talking about the previous changes. That would explain why there's no update in the tables.

OK, when they increased low-mid stakes rake in March they moved two thirds of the top jackpot in to 4x, but there was no change on the 6x. So quite possibly this is a further rebalancing towards the low multis.

Do you think that P* will introduce higher Spin&Go's stakes in the future? What is the reason they have not done this already?

they dont wanna mess with the liquidity of the $60s and $100s

I stopped grinding spins but recently played a few again. Think the rebalanced multipliers are really good for the format, but my sample is obv low. Wonder if those with regular volume have made similar experience?

Could anyone tell me how to calculate the effective rake if I exclude the top 3 payouts? I have tried a few methods but my results seem incorrect.

^ use swongsim just remove top 3 payouts
