Have to step in when people start talking about unibet as if it is run in a different way or any better than other sites. In the betting world unibet and stan James are synonymous with shutting down or severely limiting winning betting accounts. I very much doubt that the poker side of the business has a different mission statement. Especially when growth begins to stutter in the future, it would not surprise me one bit if players were banned or their games restricted.

Completely agree with c00n, unibet don't offer spins because they would be very profitable for regs. Their idea of protecting Recreational players isn't born out of some kind of altruistic belief, they simply want to keep them alive longer to get more rake from them.


As much as Andrew does an excellent job listening to players and running the poker side, unibet are one of the biggest bum hunters in the online gambling industry.

that chess analogy is entirely useless. it isn't a game that, at least in recent culture, is heavily tied to gambling. it's largely introduced to people as a free game.

poker is largely (many orders of magnitude more than chess) introduced as a game where you wager money in order to play.

Stars don't want regs playing spins. Your 'petition' will amount to nothing - they'd actually quite like it if we all left.

can we not just be happy tht not every reg in the land has noticed that spins are good $$ and theres fish robbing there grandmas for rolls to play all stakes? rake to be lowered if any petition is to be signed imo

A high profile petition is likely to draw attention of many regs who currently think spins are a waste of their time - and there are tons of them out there! And it's very likely to be unsuccessful. Stars have heavily changed the payout structure twice now, both times increasing the biggest multipliers. Then again a small tweak to the payouts in the opposite direction, with a rake increase at the lower stakes. They do this based on their own research and data, not requests from regs. If the current setup isn't working well, they will change it without the need for a petition.

We can also be glad the recent rake increase was about the best case scenario possible, actually a good thing for most players lol.

They dont need to change anything they can keep the high payouts one for the grandma stealers..

Just make a spin that normal people with 2% brain can play..
