yes, edge when you DO hit a multiplier matters, as edge when you final table, but being a great player will take you to finaltables more often in mtts, whilst being a great player in spins will not hit you more multipliers than the random break even player.

You're definitely right about that (edge gets you to FTs more often and in Spins edge doesn't really directly get you to more multipliers).

Dont think he is saying that all, it just shows the variance is quite insane in these games. You should make good money(hourly) without winning the big jackpots if that wasn't the case the games would be not worth it to grind.

He is just stating that if you don't win any of the big multipliers and don't have an EV that is crushing (4%+) you are in for a bumpy ride

Even if you crush its completely normal to be down pre RB over big samples! I know someone who is down over 13k games at 30s with EV roi of 5%!
Someone else is down 20k over 8K games with EV roi of 4%

Just be prepared to run under EV for long times over huge samples, its just the format that makes it much more likely to run under EV.
if you have an EV roi of 1-3% it would be possible to be losing pre RB basically for as long as you play!

no matter how good you are at spins u cant comtrol what multipliers you get lol but u have a higher chance of winning it when u do if your the goat? with mtts there is a million more factors to getting to the top 3 were the money is decent

Just a reminder to everyone, it is very unwise to chop Spins with people you don't know really really well - and even then, probably not a good idea either.

It's different to an MTT or other game where stars will enforce chat agreed chops - these specifically say "Deal Making Unavailable", and they mean it.

Agree that you don't do it with people you don't know, but the regs you play in day in day out, are people you obv don't know really really, but chops are nice to make and reduce variance by quit a bit, I wish i could chop anything over 6x with regs, but yeah Im very cautious and most likely wont chop the really big ones even with regs I think I can trust.

Could someone please refer me to a thread or webpage where Spinwiz has been explained thoroughly? I know roughly what it is, that it automates registration and that it's key for avoiding regs, but I'd like a more in depth explanation of how exactly it works. +10 cool points for anyone who can help

You'd have to make a report with a list of players you consider regs and then you could filter results by 0/1/2 reg games. Not quite the same thing but could be useful information.

it registers you for multiple games at the same time right? so look at the start times of your tournaments.
