ya, maybe forced pauses wouldn't really work well... hard to know if there's a way to implement it so that it wouldn't be abused. maybe you could accumulate "forced pause tokens" based upon the amount you play. for example, you might get one "two minute forced pause token" for every 10,000 VPPs you earn. this way, the only people who are able to used them are serious players who are likely not to abuse the system. anyways, i know that there would be a lot other issues to consider before implementing this... just throwing the idea out there.

but for the general idea of a "pause" request... you basically click the button, then you can request a pause for a specific length of time... so you have check boxes for 30 sec, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 4 minutes, 5 minutes, ??? minutes.

and maybe you could have something pop up to let you know that a pause has been requested... but make sure that the other person can't spam request a pause to tilt you or anything silly like that.

also, is there a way to play someone in a HUSNG match if the lobby is already taken? i've never had to do this before... but when people decide to play matches against each other, and there are people sitting in the lobby of the game you want to play... do you just have to wait until the lobby is clear and then join at the same time.

it would actually be kind of cool if you could get messages like "you were challenged to a $___ HUSNG match by _____, do you accept" .... then "are you sure blah blah blah" ... though i'm not sure how well this would work. the fish would be constantly bombarded by HUSNG requests. maybe if there was a way to have a friends list, that would work the best. that way, you can set up your own games with people on your friends list and chat to each other within the pokerstars client instead of using skype, AIM, MSN, ICQ (j/k), etc.

This new micro millions series needs more HUMTTs. A single 2$ hyper tourney out of 100 mtts?

+1, you should do HU micro high roller in range of 25-50usd. WCOOP series has also 25K HU tourney

Is it even a hyper, u start with 5k lol think they messed up a little
Def more HU events needed, 1% of the events is a bit insulting imo

100 events and only one of them to be HUMTT is a joke IMO.......

Also how about weekly HUMTT with option for 1 rebuy (or two) only? = bigger prize pools. I think it will be great to have this kind of tourney once a week at least.

Rebuy wud b logistical nightmare, so after player 1 beats player 2 he has to wait while player 2
Donks off another 2 bi so he can start his match in round 2. Not for me thanks

Player 2 would be rebuying into round 2 (paying twice the fee) so there's no waiting.

At least, that's the way it works in the chess HUMTTs I've played.

round 2? lol
usually you have for example 512 people in R2. Now you would have 585 and it would be messed up again...

I think rebuys in HU MTT's are just stupid

when both people are registered for a HUSNG game... i want the lobby to immediately disappear from the list and i want the new lobby to immediately appear. i hate how there's currently a few seconds of lag... so annoying

yeah it's only been that way for a few weeks right? very annoying

Come on! I'm suggesting about ONLY ONE tourney a week is that really a nightmare? 1 rebuy is prob the best though. Same(ish) approach you can see in most of the live HUMTT (2 out of 3 or 3 out of five). But rebuy will be also better for stars because the prize pools will be bigger that way.

Possibly you guys have foreseen this but if you havent id like to suggest it

id really like these if it was no limit preflop and Pot limit postflop

One of the biggest preflop edges in now STs comes from reshoving the correct ranges.

Im not sure how that would relate to PLO however because preflop equitys run way closer, however not being able to jam preflop seems ... weird to say the least in sts

perhaps someone more experienced with plo could shed some light on this?

GOD NO!!

omaha is alot different from nl holdem!
as you have probably noticed in holdem there certain hands which are big favouites.
in omaha hands are to close to 50/50 preflop and making it no limit preflop would make it very unprofitable.

I hope the omaha hypers don't significantly hurt the holdem hypers.
