Yes, but with less rake, it would be much harder to game the promotions that way.

I'd even be more than happy to take a full tilt point per dollar reduction, which would also reduce the promotion gamability if the tradeoff was a reduced rake overall.

With how worthless the points are I think that this is almost as bad as not being included in the promotions at all. Any increase to our hourly from this would be offset by the time figuring out which outdated and overpriced piece of electronic equipment we want to order.

trivial request:

if I want to see who is sitting in a HUSNG I need to open the table. this is a pain in the neck! Why can't it be like on the cash table when just clicking on it shows me on the side bar who is sitting?

Can we get a pin code to use with our RSA token like Stars has? It would prevent someone from taking our token in real life and being able to log in on a computer that has the password saved. It would also alleviate most of the concerns with the token itself being hackable.

God this, it would take alot more than double FTP points... which would be suchhhhhh a weak promotion when you dont have any VIP program, or even conceirge service ( a worthwhile way to use the points ) =/

I think PINs are separate from the RSA token. Not to mention you still need your password to login. Beyond that, RSA really is not hackable.

Any problem with just using the optional card PIN sign-in option already in place?

You miss the point. I know you don't care about points, but it's like those commercials all the poker sites run. They don't make you want to play on their site, but they make casual players want to play there. Anyways, again, the "double pts for rematches" promotion:

Benefits:

For winners: More fish rematch us = more profit.

For casual players: Double points gets them excited, helps them earn pts to spend in the store more quickly.

For FTP: More casual players playing, more grinders playing, very low cost as pts aren't worth much, overall more volume = $$.

I'm really not missing anything, that promotion would have no notable impact on the games. I think that you are grossly overestimating how much the average player cares about Full Tilt points. Adding a promotion where we get more Full Tilt points is about as awesome as getting paid $6 for a day of jury duty.

Happy hours certainly don't see more volume than other times, since they're designated happy hours to shore up the volume. On the other hand, the existence of happy hour indicates that FTP certainly believes that fish care about it.

The Fierce Rival's with 2x, 3x, 4x times more point's on rematch's as a full time feature.

1st rematch 2x

2nd rematch 3x

5th rematch 4x

And so on…

Now in celebration of this we should start a husng promotion...

Put some history of rivalry, some fire in the background caused by the heating of the match (we could change the background of the tables from the 5th rematch and on for the duration of the promotion), some blood spilling and heads flying and there you go!

And now for the less important part… What we can give in that promotion?

Now, another suggestion...

Create a leaderboard in the models of chess leaderboards, where by defeating stronger opponents you increase more than by defeating weaker opponents. It can be separated by stakes so the lower stakes can have Grandmasters too.

Create the option for the player sitting to show or hide is rating. Also the option to reset the rating for a cheap amount of FT points or for free every period of time so there’s no temptation to start new account’s out of embarrassment…, or that the rating will never go down the initial fixed amount (this one would be better I think).

(I think with that it will avoid some people playing the same opponent all day and wining every match to place first in some kind of leaderboard near the end of the promotion…)

Now do it before someone steals your idea!

If it was 2x buy-in option on the rematch, then it would encourage your opponent to martingale.

Would that be a good thing, or would it just lead to us all losing to rake and bad BR management...

not to say I wont take it if its all we can get, but there are soooo many better things you can do for us, than give us more points to buy a 6k avatar or a motorcycle...

I just read in the Full Tilt update thread that they are going to increase the point cost for buying into tournaments. As hard as this may be to believe, the points are going to be worth even less than they already are. Awesome, we can get more points and have them worth less.
