you might already be in a higher skill level, but you need to reach a number of games where it checks again and sorts you.

Seems like WWII is like 65 years past.

There is a hidden ranking of skill which determines your ability to move up. This is based on games you win and skill of the opponents you beat. But, the system only reanalyzes if you should be in a higher division every X number of games. The evidence for this is that players have lost a game and then moved up to the next rank.

yeah it happend to me on my friend account , i played a decent share of game with a high winrate so i figured i would start playing terran wich is my worse race by far to get the account down so my friend dont get raped and after losing many games i got promoted in a better league.
Tbh I still can t understand the point of those league since unless you are diamond who care what your position is in your league

So there was a party at my place yesterday. Didn't want it to turn big, because I've tried not to waste my Saturdays on hangovers recently. Well, these things seldom go as planned...eventually my friend still convinces me to play HUSNGs together. So there I am 4AM, pretty drunk and very tired, whining about this being very unprofessional '"and no, we are not going to take shots @ 110s with money won, that's bad BRM", my friend passing me his whiskey&coke mix and telling me to put on Avril Lavigne songs with lyrics on Youtube(don't ask....).
Well, we didn't drop a game. 8:0 and ~350$ I think. I remember some pretty questionable plays and sick suckouts we made.
Dunno if I should be unhappy with myself playing drunk or just celebrate that my BR is now over the limit I needed to withdraw and get a PC.

Yea its mind boggling how they get something very simple so so wrong. All you need to do is very heavily weight the past 50-100 games. someone who is 42-8 over their last 50 games is obvious playing against the wrong players. Determining a calculated confidence value assumes people learn at a rate proportional to the number of total games they have play which is just so dumb.

My very general thoughts:

Terran- I think terran is the easiest to play (but also gayest!). You make a ball of units and you attack. A good terran is aggressive.

Protoss- Strongest units plus you get maphack (observer) which is awesome. A good protoss micromanages his units well because while they are strong they cost a lot.

Zerg- Has the best economy, its easy to expand. Less micro needed as the key to winning as zerg is building a second wave while you fight. A good zerg multitasks really well, scouts and controls the map. You also get the most cool points for playing zerg.

Two Questions:

1. PlayStation 3.. or Xbox 360??

2. Fifa 11 or PES 11??
