I guess I'm reliving 7th grade...anyone feel free to pile on. I am actually starting to find this amusing....I must be deranged. The motives behind these replies are just fascinating. It was a stream of consciousness type of rant, and others jumped on the opportunity "here's my chance to kick this guy in the balls after a bad night." whatever.

you also reacted quite harshly anytime someone was sarcastic or responded negatively to your threads, which is a reaction you might understand from the forum regulars if you understood how many people online experience the exact same thing as you are now and post the same threads over and over. you don't seem to cope well with the variance in poker, maybe it's just not for you. but i can guarantee that some legitimate effort on your part (posting hands with questions, reading basic theory, signing up with husng.com, reviewing your sessions, and eventually getting coaching) you would eventually learn to deal with variance and succeed at heads up poker.
Thanks dad....I'm not a lifer on these forums, so pardon me if I didn't adhere at first. Note the first response was very very douchy. Other replies were also very condescending if you read closely. I'm talking about a general attitude...not my posts but just other threads. I just think it's lame to treat others that way..

I am in tears reading this thread. Level or not it is brilliant either way.

I love that you called the first poster a prick and then sat stewing for 10 min while nobody replied and came back and went off him like 10x harder.

5 stars imo.

Cmon. this guy even had a look at your "history" here and gave you a really good advice.

Best thing you can do imo is to quit poker. Maybe you can try to start again in one or two months or maybe you quit for ever. You don't seem to like the game right now. You even don't seem beeing able to accept good advice. All you do here is defending your rant, acting naive and turn a spiral of selfdestruction.

My advice is: go and try to find something to do that gives you some satisfaction rather than something that depresses you.

I might look back one day and say I was angry and irrational...but that felt good...I can't lie.

I was referencing other threads I've read in passing started my other users. When someone posts their hh and someone gives their opinion along with backhanded ridicule...it's just kind of unnecessary.

Other than that...point taken.

It's interesting that almost every thread I read about someone quiting poker and/or how the games are dead, it has at least one sentence complaining about how unlucky they were.

I think most of your frustration comes from not understanding how complex poker is and how hard it is to become a mid stakes winning player. It's easier for some then for others but it's still a very tough thing to do.

I don't know whats the best way to say it, but basically if you work hard enough you end up with a lot of money, if you didn't end up that way, you didn't work hard enough.

You might wanna tell me to fk off just because it makes you feel better but it's not gonna help you as much as actually thinking about what i said. If you spent four years and still can't beat small stakes, you suck at poker and the only way to fix it is to work much harder then you worked before. I'm not saying this to be cruel, i'm only saying that to help you, because until you see yourself for what you really are you won't be able to improve.

Read this a couple of times, if you still don't believe that you in fact suck at poker, quit

What kind of replies did you actually expect?

Also, love the fact that you say that your going to quit poker forever and then filthy offers you a free hh review and that 'forever' changes to 'taking a few days off'.

Oh yeah btw guys, i also really suck at poker and i hate it, and i too am going to quit poker forever and ever.

(PLEASE SOMEONE OFFER ME A FREE HH REVIEW AS WELL!)

I can relate to your original post (I can't believe how many coin-flips i've lost in the past three days), and my advice would be to do the same thing I'm planning to do: quit playing. For me this means two things:

1. Relax - I'm way too stressed in real life and this is the main reason I can't control my emotions at the table.

2. Study, rather than play. I'm just going to watch (even) more video's to help build up my knowledge and confidence.

Bottom line:

For me it's a matter of realizing that if I'm not enjoying poker, I shouldn't be doing it (for a while): life is simply too short...

My winnings are marginal...not enough to justify playing. I have no question or whatever. I know this thread will probably get deleted. I'm just really depressed the government screwed over internet poker to the point where it's all good players with about 1 in 10 players being donks.

Now it's just a few really good players trading games HU. Are the really good players the ones who just dive bomb and win? I can't beat those kind of maniacs. Raise every button?? That doesn't work the opponent just slowplays you after awhile. I'm so ****ing depressed to work this hard to be a good player and all of a sudden I realize I'm not that good. I have no shot. All the hard work down the drain.

Objectively look at your game, don't blame everything on suckouts. There's still good money to be made. If you aren't making $$$, it's because you refuse to study and look at your game objectively.

Stop being lazy, and start studying! If you refuse to do that, you don't deserve making $$$. Simple as that.

Nothing comes for free in life, the sooner you realize that, the better.

I call a 3b with AQ and he shoves 4x pot with 76o on JT8.

I have the best hand, not to mention a double gutter, flush draw and 2 overs.

I lose the pot somehow.

I can't tell you how many times I have been one or two outed.

It happens.

I've been on 2p2 for years. Every day people post bad beat stories, how the games are getting harder, how poker is rigged, etc etc.

Most regs have heard these stories hundreds of times. There is a BBV forum and tilt thread just to keep all this trash at bay.

No one really likes to hear whiney posts and everyone will be quick to tell you about it.

You might be surprised at the hate you are getting, but if you had 6k posts you'd prob use one of them to make fun or chase away some other noob.

Lots of people make lots of money playing HU in this forum (from people like you tbh) - so when you come and say the game is dying most people just say lol, noob gtfo.

It's like you coming over to my house for dinner but telling me my house is dirty and the food is bad. If you don't like it gtfo and don't come back but don't insult my lifestyle.

You can get better and join us or leave, but don't post about how no one can make money HU.

That's where we are coming from.

You should be happy at suckouts.

Suckouts prove the game is profitable if people keep putting their money in bad.

Over time luck will even out. Get your money in good and don't worry about the rest.

Noobs always want to overbet the pot b/c he might have a draw and suckout on my aces. Pros want to bet an amount that he will call and risk getting sucked out on.

You have AA and get it in vs TT and win $100. You don't think anything about it - but you are not entitled to the whole pot, just b/c you have the best hand. If you win, you actually owe him $20. Think about that.
