Hi guys!

For you who play only Heads-Up hypers S&G at Chico probably noticed, that since the hack attack a few weeks ago, the lobby became simply empty!

All those regular "bots", at least at the limits that I play (7-15$) completely disapperead, and trust me, they where more than 5 rotating all the time, and since that day, *puff* all of them, vanish, no signs of life.

Since that day obviously the lobby became incredible, no more bots to fight against, as it always should be. I don't know what did Chico do after that hack attack but I assumed that they just had cleared the lobby, kicked all the bots and were trully fighting for the players (my assumption).

Howerer, a few days ago, since the early November, a few "different" players appeared again. But trust me when I say that they are completely different, they do exactly what the bots did, they are extremely agressived but balanced at the same time, which is extremely rare for these stakes and are always at the lobby, and surprise surprise, their sharkscope only beggins at the start of November, so new accounts. So suddently, several new accounts (I have proof of at least 2, the third had its sharkscpe blocked), appeared at the lower limit lobby again, are always online rotating, NEVER play against each other and play a super extreme and similar agressive style.

I know I know I can't prove anything, (and I don't want to, since I would have to spend a lot of my time battling these guys and probably loosing money just to gather enough stats to prove it) but c'mon, this pattern has been repeated for far too long, WPN recently blocked the hypers lobby...

Has anyone, that plays there noticed this new bots trend again since the hack attack? What can we, as "normal" players do? (I know, play at other poker sites but my country doesn't allow me to do that and the rake is sometimes unbeatable...)

Cheers

What is the “hack attack”?

why don't you just change game/platform? It must be frustrating to play against bots

Man, it is so f** frustrating. Like a few hours ago I was battleling 3 of them at the same time and they never played against each other... and that for quite a while.

And then sometimes one is registered only at the 7s, and them a hour later only registered at the 30s and then again and again...

The reason why I play here is that I'm from Portugal and appart from PS or 888.pt (which have extremely awfull rake and basically no rakeback) which are legal here, I can only play at Chico's or at WPN, that's why

play on stars. They actively fight against bots

Hey BazingaF,
i doubt any 'bot' would play on 7s or 15s, if they do, they would be **** and easy to exploit. Good bot/RTA is playing 100s+
Chico removed mid and high stake hu, so I am assuming that some HS regs play 60s (or quit network), that means some 100s/60s moved down to play 30s/15s (or quit network) etc. What you are facing is some basic preflop and postflop winning strat from any decent reg.
As a portuguese player i'd recommend playing stars.pt, its a small environment and from what i've seen in the past regs get quite nice winrates on hyper and turbo hu, rakeback doesnt matter in the long run and quiting a network that is safe from any decent regs outside of PT (which pool should be small) is not the best idea

dybboss, I wouldn't necessarily agree.

Plenty of micro-low stakes bots have been found and banned over the years. There's a lower bar to achieve profitability, easily scalable, easier to blend in, less risk that a good player will exploit you.

Most RTA is likely HS though for sure.

Chico had bots (or, at least, extremely botlike accounts) at $15s and $30s last I checked. It's just not true that only midstakes+ games are botted these days. Acr just removed husngs completely and I know for certain they had accs affiliated with known botrings as low as $24s there, not sure about lower.

The reality on a lot of sites is pretty grim. Stars had made a lot of bad decisions over the years, but leading the fight against bots is one of the few worthwhile things they've done.

windfall games are full of bots just like in the winning network and also the network pretends not to see anything. Avoid this site. Bots at all limits from $3 to $30. Bots are not only in windfall, but also in SNG-games, tournaments, but there they are diluted with real players. In windfall, bots attack the lobby and prevent you from playing with real players. You always play with bots.
