Its vs my friend who is mtt winning reg. He told me its everyday a call, because he would bet with nuts turn and he doesnt represent the color, what do you guyz think.

Because me when i bet river i'm like, he can see me on nuts or color with this bet but i still want to value it and he jam it, so i saw it on nuts or color !!! I **** on myself.

i didnt raise my pp preflop because he was clearly folding to much raise.

i agree with him, he would bet any of those hands on the turn, and he could do this with several two pairs. I would also consider his bluff river % > 0.

So, as played, easy call imo. Depending on dynamics i would consider a 3bet on the river.

You should start with an iso pre

I would just call here... we'll definitely lose a bunch, but we have a set. Don't think about it too hard.

yeah i didnt iso because my friend was folding to much iso, i told him and he said he always has bad hands when i made some iso. I not have a big sample we just played 8 hu.

I think the strength of your hand is underrepresented, easy river call

55 should be a limp/jam if he's not RFI, so you should have stacked him with an ISO PF.

The river bet sizing for pot doesn't make too much sense against a semi-competent player. You block Tx and Qx bets the turn so only 2 pair combos that got there on the river can really call a pot sized bet on the river. You can size up big with strong hands regardless of board texture against some really bad players who refuse to be bluffed, but against most players the sizing should be really small to allow for a bluff catch with 8x or sometimes induce a bluff raise. You could also check to induce a bluff because your hand is under represented and there are multiple draws that get there your opponent can possibly represent. You have strong hand value but this isn't the kind of board you want to face a ton of action on either.

As played, you probably have to call because you may beat a few possible value hands that raise and there are some bluffs in his range as well. I would expect to run into a Flush or 76 pretty often though.

No need to take some tricky lines, play straight forward.
Raise pre, even if he folds too much not like your TT is nuts.
As played raise flop, you have a strong hand start building pot.
Prob one of the most important rules playing good straight forward poker and a lot of players fell in to this trap when they have strong hand they play it passively fearing their opponent will fold but getting max value from strongish hands is way more important than getting some value from weak hands.
And as played in theory you can bet big, but as undftd23 pointed out you block Ts hard, Qx bets turns, so id agree with smaller sizing, imo it will get called way more + you give opportunity to spew.
And as played no way id fold this in million years who knows what your opponent is doing.
