it depends how many games you've put in and what your results/bankroll looks like

Actually I have similar question. Grindation, how this decision is affected by factors you mention? Let's say, I am playing 7$ (4 man, turbo) and mostly 1 tabling. It is done with 25% ROI and 8$/hour rate. Bankroll - more or less whatever needed (say, max 1k $). Games are played 2-3h per day. Usually 1 day off per week. What would be better decision - moving to 15$ or learning to multitable? Why?

Depends on how much action you will get at the higher limits.

Like the difference between $7 and $15 games is going to be very marginal while the difference between $100 and $200 games is going to be a lot larger.

Try two tabling your limits see how much your ROI drops, and also try playing higher and see if your ROI is more than half of what u had at the lower stake.

Actually choose whatever you feel will drive you to improve more, for me it would be moving up, then everything else like hourly, multitabling etc comes naturally.

Worrying about hourly rate is absurd unless you are making some type of real money, which you won't be for multiple levels. Play less tables, learn more, move up and own the robotic, four tabling monkeys.

After playing poker for many years, my biggest regret is to NOT move up soon enough. Move up as soon as you can IMO

Yeah moving up is a huge virtue. But for me, clicking buttons really fast stimulates my pleasure centres to a weird extent - so I really enjoy multitabling.

It's different for everyone. Everyone have different comfort levels. SOme are happy to play with 35-50 buyins... some are more nitty and elect for 150+.

For op, if it's hypers, the 'standard' number for multi tabling is 2 for most regs, some regs do 3-4, there are sick kunts that do 4+. I would work towards being able to multi table 2 comfortably. Which really shouldn't take you that long!
