Moving from reg speed to turbo speed? Moving from reg speed to turbo speed?

So I just moved up to the 55 and then back down to the 33 because I lost a bit. I couldn't seem to find a lot of opponents at the reg speed, so I begin trying the turbo speed.

At first, I thought the turbos was A LOT easier than the reg speed, because everyone seemed to be maniacs overbetting a lot and making a lot of bad moves. But now, even though I still think 90% of the players there are AWFUL, I can't seem to be winning.

I don't know if it's just me running bad or what. But I just can't seem to beat those players? They call a ton of cbets, and I just don't seem to be hitting anything. I can bluff them, because a lot of them seems to be stations. Lots of them also donk huge, and without having anything, I can't really do much?

Post some specific hands in the forum here, I think you'll get some more useful advice.

There should certainly be plenty of ways to exploit these players, it may just take a few good hands posted for you to have it "click."

Keep working though, people that transition from regular speed to turbo don't always win at first.

Try to identify when in a game you are losing value. If you are doing turbos you need to be really good at ~20bbeff level. A good resource is using HEM Leakbuster stakes report. Give you stats at the different blind levels and then you can filter them to see what's going on.

Work on your 25/50 and up blind levels, especially 50/100. That seems to be the magic number for me where I own fish the greatest in a turbo; ironic becuase it's high blinds and higher variance, but they almost never call shoves correctly, usually either fold too much or spite call with 96. Nash is your friend here, I come from a SNG background so it's a natural stage for me- if you have any experience with push/fold you will own a lot of turbo players when blinds get high.
